Good small scale for espresso with a couple quirks
This is my second digital scale for coffee. I had another scale for Chemex pour-over coffee, but that scale was too large to fit on the drip tray of my Breville Bambino. I researched a few different scales, and found this small form factory scale with 0.1g accuracy. I've used this scale for 2 months now, 1-2 times a day.The good: USB-C recharge and comes with a cable. Physical on/off switch. The scale is accurate. It's small and fits on the small drip tray of the Bambino. The dead front display makes this scale look nice and expensive sitting on the counter. A timer mode will start once the scale is weighted, very handy for timing espresso pours. Great battery life, and has lasted two months of 2 shots a day.The quirks: Can't use the scale when plugged in/charging. The capacitive touch on/off is slightly delayed and took some time to get used to. The battery icon displays as a segmented battery, but those segments don't change or relate to the percentage of battery life left. Once the icon shows the battery is low, there isn't much life left, so charge very soon.Overall I am happy with the purchase. I would buy it again.

Super tiny and amazing!
An year back I bought a different scale which was quite big and struggled to place it under the portafilter when pulling an espresso shot. This on the other hand is extremely tiny! I absolutely love it.I don't use the auto timer because you should time your shot from the time you press the button on the espresso machine and not when the first drop comes out (especially if you have a machine which does preinfusion). So I manually start the timer and it works great. But when I did try to switch between different modes it was not easy. IDK why but double clicking on the timer button doesn't always work, so if you are someone who'll use auto timer, this might get frustrating. The scale also has a physical on/off device which should save a lot of battery. The buttons give a tiny "beep" when the buttons on the scale record your touch which is another great feature.TL;DR: Very tiny and amazing scale. Switching modes doesn't always work and could get frustrating. Still a 5 star from me.

Practically unusable because of poor battery performance.
The features of the scale are ok. Controls are intuitive and useful for the home barista. But battery performance is so poor that there is no practical way of using the device without having to plug it to a charger all the time.

Great size and feats, except sometimes goes nuts
I have this for about a month. It recently (after first charge) started sometimes to show some weird weights, like after taring and starting the coffee drip, it will jump to 116g and continue from there. Works well most of the time, it is compact and elevates glass just enough for bottomless basket holder. That is on Gaggia Classic Pro with standard tray (saves the need to purch the custom low profile tray)Maybe the tiny reset feature can help me?Like other reviewers I would mention that a rubber cap on the usb-c will make it more future-proof.Oh and charging on a pixel charger does not work, You need a PC (I guess 1A max) this is not noted in instructions (or maybe I missed that) but at least it has protection so it didn't melt at 2.4A

Was great at first then stop working
UPDATE: was offered a refund and/or replacement since I was still in my 1-year warranty. No question asked service. Thanks for making this right. The scale was great at first then it stopped working and accurately charging. The scale would be changing and beeping at 100%, but as soon as I turn it on, it will beep, read "Lo" and then shut off. The battery would constantly be flashingI haven't even had it a year and it has been doing this for the last 2-3 months. I really like it because of its low-profile and the height was short to fit under my portafilter on my Breville Barista Touch. Wish it would work.. Will contact seller/brand.

I love this scale
This is my new favorite home espresso scale. I like it better in almost every way than my heavy, old Acaia Lunar, which is 8x the price. Despite its affordable price, it has a quality look and feel. It is compact and lightweight, with an easy-to-grip polymer housing that makes the scale easy and comfortable to pick up and move back and forth between the drip tray and counter. The display is also very attractive for what it is. I tend to weigh/time my shots in a "manual" way, so I am not sure I will use the auto features...but it's nice to have the options. I also love that it uses the latest USB-C charging, and I have the included charging cable conveniently under my grinder table. I have move this new scale to center stage at my espresso machine, and demoted my Lunar scale to my bean-weighing station so I don't have to move it anymore.

very impractical for espresso
While the scale in general works I find it very impractical for espresso. First of all, whenever it's turned on it is in PR2 mode for drip coffee. Switching it to PR1requires some large number of taps (a simple double-tap never worked for me). And then the tare button no longer works, so one can't set the cup onto the scale and tare it out: it beeps at each button tap but doesn't do anything. Overall, instead of helping the scale just added frustration to the espresso making. Returned.

Works great
Sweet little unit. Use it daily. Works fast.NOTE, batter worked for months and months and when it died it wouldn't recharge.Turned out that the Samsung fast charger I was trying to use was probably using too much power.I tried a .99 cent USB power block and unit started charging fine. The first unit I received was a dud but this one has been working fine daily for almost a year already.I think it's accurate haha.Seems consistent which is all I need it for.
