Xavax Radiator Thermostat (Bluetooth connect, Child Lock, Free App for Smartphone or Tablet programming, Made in Germany)

The unit itself is easy enough to fit to radiator with adaptor rings supplied. However, the problem is with the setup. Instructions are not too clear and you really have to think how this device works and how it gets its information to enable it to work correctly. It took me a few days to understand and to get it working effectively. The bluetooth range is limited to a few meters. Outwith that and it will not link with App. For what I paid, around £12.00, I am happy with the performance it is now giving. Without some tech knowhow, I can appreciate that it can be seen a useless product, as it is difficult to set up correctly. There may be similar devices on the market that are easier to setup. I'd now happily buy another of this type however as they seem to be the cheapest.

I bought two of these to help automate the heating in my home. The objective was to minimise heating of rooms when they didn't need to be heated. I could not get them to pair with my smartphone, so these are basically completely useless to me. I asked a question of Xavax on what app I needed and how to pair the devices, and got no reply. This is not the only make of this type of device. Next time I would chose a different make.

Easy to fit but software not easy to use have an Equiva Bluetooth rad valve and software for that is much simpler but it is twice the price

J'ai acheté plusieurs articles (5 en tout) de ce type et ils n'ont que des soucis. Pas reconnu par l'application (connexion Bluetooth). Un déjà retourné, car il n’arrêtait pas d'ouvrir et fermer la vanne thermostatique de mon radiateur (bonjour l'économie). Et parlons de l'application Android qui est une vraie plaie (vor les commentaires sur le play store). Pour finir, le sav de fabricant est inexistant. Bravo pour un produit allemand. Une vraie honte !

I dispositivi funzionano correttamente, mediante l'app disponibile è possibile configurare tutti i parametri ed impostare fasce orarie con diverse temperature, periodi di vacanza. è possibile impostare due modalità: manuale e automatica. In quella automatica valgono le regole impostate per fasce orarie e periodi vacanze, in quella manuale si imposta solo la temperatura in cui l'attuatore del termostato interviene indipendentemente dall'orario. La durata delle batterie è eccellente, in uso continuo ho sostituito le batterie dopo un anno sebbene non fossero ancora del tutto esaurite.

Ein Produkt, das hält was es verspricht. Die Montage ging ganz gut, wobei mein Bruder, der es montiert hat, schon einige Erfahrung in der Richtung mitbringt. Zu Beginn gab es Probleme mit der App, mein Smartphone hat sich nicht mit dem Regler verbunden. Hatte dann den Kundenservice per Email angeschrieben und schnelle und zuvorkommende Hilfe erhalten. Der Kundendienst hatte erst Vorschläge gemacht woran es liegen kann, dass ich Probleme mit der App habe und nach einigem hin und her hatte ich die Lösung: Anstatt der "Xavax-App" habe ich nun " EUROprog-App" installiert und hier den Abschnitt Comet blue ausgewählt. Nun kann ich problemlos auf den Heizkörperregler zugreifen und Einstellungen vornehmen. Alle die hier die App bemängeln probiert erst beide Apps. Sie sind beide im App-store erhältlich Ich hoffe dies war hilfreich. Nachtrag: schaut bitte auch nach, ob der Standort aktiviert ist. Ohnegibts ebenfalls Probleme bei der Verbindung, wieso auch immer.

Hallo zusammen, ich habe die Heizkörper nun das zweite Jahr in Folge versucht zum Start der kälteren Außentemperaturen in Betrieb zu nehmen. Die Installation der Thermostate geht verhältnismäßig einfach. Doch danach reihen sich Probleme an Herausforderungen, die wiederum in Katastrophen münden. Die kostenlose App zur Einrichtung der Thermostate wurde mir unter Android getestet. Nebst vieler Abstürze und Konnektivitätsprobleme via Bluetooth ist die Einrichtung unnötig kompliziert und unübersichtlich. Teilweise werden Änderungen in den Profilen nicht gespeichert bzw. übernommen. Da kann man wüste Heizprofile einstellen wie man möchte, wenn diese auf dem/den Thermostat(en) nicht übernommen werden, dann kann ich auch indes Kreise auf Papier malen und hoffen, dass daraus ein Ball entspringt. Die Thermostate sind billig verarbeitet. Plastik als Aufsatz für den Heizkörper. Der Motor ist so leistungsschwach, dass der Stift teilweise nach dem Hochheizen nicht mehr reingedrückt werden konnte und permanent zu lautstarkem Gebrumm von Verzweiflungsversuchen die Temperatur zu regulieren durchgehend auf höchste Stufe geheizt wurde! Die Thermostate haben aufgrund mangelnder Funktionalität extreme Mehrkosten verursacht, da meist nach dem Hochheizen das Abkühlen nicht realisiert wurde und permanent auf gefühlt Stufe 5 geheizt wurde. Ich habe nebst diesem noch weitere gekauft und insgesamt 4 im Einsatz. Die Beobachtungen zeichnen sich bei allen 4 angeschafften Systemen ab, sodass von eventuellen Montagsgeräten nicht mehr auszugehen ist. Für mich Betrug.... dann lieber mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen!
