Always had factory fiited roof bars for all my cars until now. Purchased these for my Jeep Patriot after weeks of looking for some reasonably priced roof bars which were easy to fit and qiuck to put on and take off. These roofbars are excellent, fit my Jeep no problem and so easy to fix even someone as useless as me can do it. Arrived within 2 days which was 4 days before the estimated delivery date. Bought for very occasional use. Not the most perfectly trimmed/finished setup to be found, but for the price compared to other options there are no complaints. The bars themselves look/feel sturdy, although the loose-fitting 'rubber' trim pieces slide-out easily during assembly, this is no issue when they're in use as the bar end caps prevent movement. The fitting/locking system, (Allen type fixings) are easy to fit and secure, the end cap locks themselves are rather cheap/crude but look OK and do the job. Very little wind noise was evident on my application, (Golf 7.5 Variant) so no issue on that for me OTSOT at least.

We have a Chevrolet Lacetti with built in roof side-rails and these roof bars fitted across our car from those perfectly.They locked into place for security and an allen key was provided. We used the rubber adjusters provided to make the fit more secure. Because you can slide the fittings along the bars they are very versatile. We borrowed a roof box & it seemed that the holes in the base of that were also of a standard design, so it fitted on these bars perfectly too.One person could fit these bars on their own very easily with a bit of to-ing and fro-ing around the car to get them centered. We needed two people to lift the roof box into place & attach it afterwards though.Once the bars and roof box were fitted, there wasn't a noticable increase in outside noise but on their own, the roof bars did increase the noise in the car quite a lot, but it wasn't deafening, a bit like a droning sound that increased with speed - started around 40mph. I wouldn't want to leave the bars on the car permanently for that reason.

It is described as 130cm but on the box it says 108cm and isn't long enough to fit my Peugeot Partner Tepee car, which is a disappointment as they look well made.

Nice roof bars. Fits straight onto my Mondeo estate perfectly with the sports style factory fitted roof rails (with the gap underneath).The ends are rubber coated so they protect the rails when they tighten and grip. Once tightened; they are solid and don’t move at all, very strong and stable. Running down the centre of the each rail is a rubber strip which is slightly raised, good for protecting the rails from being scratched and protecting what you’re resting on the rails.The lock mechanism isn’t the greatest. The key is a bit loose and fiddly in the lock and feels quite weak. It simply just slides a piece of plastic to cover the adjustment allen key hole. Wouldn’t take much to break the lock and steal them if someone tried.Purchased for transporting plasterboard and sheets of wood for our house renovation, and it supports quite some weight, put 10 plasterboard sheets on it and it didn’t bow in the middle or bend.Overall; not the best quality, especially the lock and key. But it fits the rails on the car good and strong. Supports some good and heavy weight. Nice design and matches the car colour too. Slight howling noise at 50mph+ but nothing too major.UPDATEI’ve lost one of the end caps whilst driving, contacted the seller about replacement caps but they don’t provide or sell the spare end caps which is disappointing. They aren’t secured to the rails at all, they just slide on and fall off easily. So I’m going to glue the other on before I lose them all, and would recommend this to anyone who buys them also.

I have 6 children so needed the biggest roof box I could find, im sure theres probably bigger but this one is huge. My kids thought I bought a boat. It fitted onto the roof quite easily. the fittings on the side of the box which isn't the opening side are a bit tricky but not impossible to do. You need long arms for those bits but it is very doable. I thought it was too big when it arrived but I filled it, it was great. I had no problems with this roof box and if needed to buy another one I would get this again. You must remember to get roof bars if you haven't already though and they are not the same as roof rails. I didn't understand this till I researched more about fitting roof boxes.

Really pleased with these bars. Quick and easy to fit. A little wind noise when on the motorway but not a problem. Would recommend

My roofs bars for my previous car were not wide enough for my ford galaxy roof rails. So purchased these after looking at a good few options. Package arrived 2 days after ordering well before est delivery date. Thank god there long enough to fit across the galaxy with an inch to spare each side. The fitting instructions are terrible though so ill try to explain. In the pack you will receive two sets of rubber spacers a grey set and a black set. The black rubbers go onto your roof rails which are on the car and position them where you are going to put your roof bars across. The grey rubbers go onto the inside jaw of each clamp and the end of your roof bar. I had to use both sets of rubber spacers on my galaxy roof rails to get a good tight fitting. Practice putting them on well before your holiday to see which way suits your roof rails best. The clamps appear to be good and strong aswell. To clarify the confusion with some people-- roof rails are the bars which are on your car when you buy it the run from front to back. Roof bars are the ones that go across your car to put a roof box on.

Barres Acier résistantes faciles à mettre en place.Le montage sans outils par contre c'est faux ! il faut une clé Allen (livrée avec) les supports sont biens faits , assez polyvalents en taille de barre.J'en suis ravi !et petit bonus, c'est bête a dire, elles sont étonnamment silencieuses ... ça siffle très peu comparé a des barres alu, certes plus belles mais plus larges ...

Le rapport qualité prix est parfait. Les barres de toit semblent solides, elles sont faciles à mettre. Les protections d'attache sont pour ma voiture Rexton un peu petites mais ça reste un bon produit à conseiller!
