Just try it…
My 15.5 year old cat was diagnosed with CKD six months ago. She was not eating well, was lethargic and had lost a lot of weight. The vet didn’t have a lot to offer and I don’t want her remaining time to be filled with me sticking a big needle in her for sub-q fluids multiple times a week. She is not a cat that will tolerate that nor being dosed with meds every day. So I started searching and found this product and decided it can’t hurt to try. It has been five months now that she’s been taking this and the change is amazing! Her appetite is so much better, she has started playing again and she has gained back some weight! Also, she is the world’s most finicky cat, any time I try to sneak something into her food she turns up her nose. But she apparently cannot detect this product and eats her wet food right up. I have not taken her back yet for more bloodwork as it stresses her out so badly, I am just going off of what I see. If you are even thinking of maybe trying this just go ahead, well worth it. I just want my old kitty’s senior days to be as comfortable and happy as possible and this product is helping that happen!

Great product major success
My dog has been on aminavast for over a year. I have noticed significant results with this product. His kidney levels were not the best prior to starting this product. They are super easy to use have no odor at all and last the entire month. My pet never refuses his supplement which makes me very happy. He has not had any digestion issues and he seems to prefer these and enjoy the taste. I give him half the recommend dose and have noticed a really great improvement in his kidney values. If you are in the market I’d definitely recommend you give these a try.

Helpful kidney support for small dogs
I started using this for my small dog as kidney support, and so far I’m happy with it. It’s not a miracle overnight product, but with consistent use I’ve noticed better energy and more stable appetite. My dog tolerates it well and has no side effects. I like that it’s easy to give and specifically formulated for kidney health. If you’re looking for long-term support (not a quick fix), this is a good option. I would recommend using it consistently and being patient to see results.

Helps kidney function.
Purchased AminAvast after researching kidney support for my 19 yr old cat. She was urinating frequently and at greater volume than normal, resulting in large and infrequent bowel movements due to most of her fluid intake being diverted to her kidneys. We had tried two other renal remedies with limited success as she would not eat her food when added. With the contents of one AminoVast capsule mixed in wet food with a few drops of water to dissolve the powder she will eat without hesitation. Have been using for about a month, giving one capsule daily, for 7-8 lb cat. Within 2 weeks, noticed her bowel movements more normal and frequent, and her urination decreased. She seems to feel better overall and her appetite is better. A bit pricey, but it's helping and will continue to use.

Don't stop giving them because they work.
My dog Jack is almost 16 and has been diagnosed with first stages of kidney disease. He's never been a good eater. When he was diagnosed I stopped all prepared dog food and I know give him home-cooked meals of rice, boiled chicken, and carrots or sweet potatoes. I mix in one capsule of this supplement in his food. He is on his third bottle. His appetite is like he's a different dog. He lick the ball. Formally he always left a good amount. But this is the questionable part. I ran out of this supplement for 2–3 days. For the first time he got very sick, walking around confused and distressed for hours, finally threw up a few times, finally slept in his bed. When he started I remember to order him another bottle. He is acting like his old self again. Whether this is a coincidence or not, I will never run out of these vitamins. Photo of Jack this morning, so glad to see him resting peacefully. I think these pills are working!

It works (Updated Review)
Update on 12/4/18 I started giving this to my cat back in October 27. While there were no instant visible improvements, the improvements to her health, vitality and energy were gradual. After the first week, I noticed that her appetite increased and she would eat her full serving of food. Her water intake is at a good ratio with her eating (she eats dry cat food that's formulated for renal health). Her SDMA levels did not increase and remained stable. BUN numbers are well within the normal range as well. This supplement combined with a veterinarian-prescribed renal cat food is helping keep my kitty healthy and stable. I highly recommend this product! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I’m giving this 4 stars for now since I saw immediate improvement. My cat’s blood works showed her SDMA level to be on the high side and her urine was dilute along with symptoms of frequent urination and thirst. So I started to give my cat these supplements before her follow up appointment to see what stage kidney disease she’s at. So far, her appetite is normal and she hasn’t been peeing so much (before I gave her these supplements, she would pee so much I had to clean the litter box so many times a day). She has been active and social again. I give this to her along with cosequin for her joints. I will update my review after her next lab works.

AminAvast Kidney Support
It is a good supplement for felines with kidney disease...recent results from retestting show better conditions than prior bloodwork. Will continue giving. Also giving Hydra Care supplement as a drink. She loves it. Flush kidneys with Sub-Q fluids too.

AminAvast has worked miracles for our beloved Smokey!
We had taken our neutered male cat, Smokey, to our veterinarian two months prior to ordering AminAvast because he had been throwing up between 3-5 times daily, seemed to be drinking water all of the time, and had begun losing weight. My husband's ex-wife had rescued him, as an adult cat, from an animal shelter around 15 years ago. She was unsure of his age then, but we adopted him from her nearly 10 years back when she could no longer care for him, so we know that he is, at very least, 16 years old. He recently developed a mass on his back paw and cyst-like lumps in several places on his body, so we asked our vet if those things could possibly be related to his vomiting. She told us that the mass was almost certainly cancerous, but that old age would likely take him before that particular form of cancer did, further stating that attempting a surgical removal will often cause the malignancy to spread to vital organs much faster than just leaving it alone. Doc offered that Smokey, as an older cat, may have developed a sensitive stomach over time and suggested we start purchasing a higher-quality food to see if that made a difference. We tried several different high-quality cat foods, dry, wet, a combination of the two...but the poor old man continued to vomit all over the furniture, our bed, the carpet, even the dog a couple of times. We were starting to have those conversations that every pet lover dreads. He still seemed to enjoy life to an extent, but he was getting so thin, and becoming a bit lethargic, so we were facing the inevitable choice of clinging to him until he was so miserable that we couldn't take it anymore, or having him put to sleep now, before he reached that stage. In a last ditch effort to save our beloved boy, I typed his symptoms into a search engine and started reading about people who had lost-or nearly lost-their cats to renal failure, and they were the exact same ones as Smokey had been experiencing. So, I began looking for, if not cures, at least remedies that would, hopefully, give him a better quality of life, and us some more time with him. I found a "Pet Answers" website that featured several pages of customer reviews on this AminAvast product. Most of the customer's testimonials revealed symptoms exactly like Smokey had been experiencing. A common theme was that their vets had informed them that their cats were simply old, and should probably just be put to sleep. But, they had done some research, found this miracle product, and their pets were actually thriving 5, 6, 7 years later and more. So, I immediately logged into Amazon and placed my order, not really knowing what to expect. The bottle arrived two days later and I gave Smokey his first dose mixed into a little canned food. He didn't turn his nose up at it, which he usually does with all medications, so it must not have a distasteful odor or flavor. After a few days, he was still vomiting a lot, but some customers warned that it had taken a couple of months for them to really notice a change. We didn't have to wait that long. After only 4 DAYS of being on AminAvast, Smokey has completely stopped throwing up, he is drinking regular amounts of water, he's got that old confidence back and he's even started putting a little weight back on. And, now that he's gotten used to the little bowl of wet food in the morning and evening with his pill, he *loudly* makes sure I don't forget. I don't have any idea how long we've got with our wonderful old guy, but his health is improving by the day, and we are so thankful for AminAvast for making that happen. And, as an added bonus, I don't have to wash my bedding, run the carpet shampooer, and scrub down furniture every day now, so it's all win-win!

Not tasty
It's not palatable, our cat wouldn't eat his favourite food if it's mixed in it.

My cat loves this stuff!
My cat has kidney issues and this amino acid supplement somehow piques his interest in eating, even though it doesn't seem to be flavoured in any way. My cat is on a variety of powders and drops but when I ran out of this supplement he did seem to go downhill a bit in the time that he didn't have it. His appetite was not as good and he didn't seem as active when he wasn't taking it. It is pricey, but I have started to give my 7.5 pound cat half of the contents of a capsule in the morning and half in the evening and that seems to be a good dose for him, even if it is half the recommended amount. If your cat is quite thin, it may be a good dose for him/her as well.

So very expensive for the small amount of pills you get
It's only been a few days so dont know if it's helping or not but my cat doesnt mind the taste. It's easy-to-use. But the price is wow. My cat weighs 26lbs so I'm supposed to give him 4 pills a day. If I did that it would be over $200 a month!! I cant afford that at all so I am trying 1pill a day. I Love my cat so much but I just don't have that. I gave up food for myself just to get them.
