The six placemats made from beautiful red poinsettia fabric are ready for your Christmas table. Reversible from a dramatic dark black background to a quiet ecru background, they can be used for any table setting. The bright red flowers share the black background with a red/green/gold ribbon, adding elegance. The lighter side, much less formal, also has large red-pink flowers and small subdued leaves, pine cones, and berries. The quilting is top to bottom straight-line so as to not detract to the beauty of the two fabrics. Thread color chosen was a Christmas red that blends well. Each placemat measures approximately 11" x 17". The binding is in green and goes well with both the dark and light sides. Washable, however I recommend for the first wash using a color catcher. Drying recommendation is to lay flat; expect some shrinkage and crinkle of fabric if placed in a dryer. Iron as needed.
