Q: After treating my shoes with sno-seal, can I polish them with shoe polish?

Yes. The directions on the container say: "Color and a high gloss can be maintained on dress shoes by applying regular shoe polish over SNO-SEAL"

Q: Will this product discolor a light brown leather boot?

I used Sno-Seal on these boots. http://www.amazon.com/Clarks-Mens-Bushacre-Desert-Boots/dp/B00B1I5KFU. I bought the beeswax leather color and after applying Sno-Seal they are a very dark brown. If you notice the brown on the soles it is noticeably lighter than the leather after I applied Sno-Seal. I hope that helps.

Q: can you use this on your feet?

It's not a silly question: I was considering using this instead of another product marketed explicitly for application to feet (yours, your dog's your horse's), since Sno-Seal is a bit less expensive... but have decided to go with the other product which is labeled non-toxic/food-grade: check out Musher's Secret, here on Amazon. And yes, Musher's Secret is great for human hands and feet or even skin and hair in extreme environments, for protection from prolonged exposure to water, snow and ice or to soothe and protect rough or chapped skin, in my experience. (P.S., I've also used Musher's Secret on my leather shoes, boots, belts, etc., to recondition and seal, quite successfully.)

Q: say I have a basic 8 inch high boot. how may time could I coat my boot with 7oz of sno seal?

I really don't know, but I would guess at least 20+ times. Maybe 30. I put two coats on 8" boots and barely dented the can.
