Save yourself some money ladies
Bought this as I was horrified to see my little 'moustache'. Read reviews of other products but this seemed to be the best product and I wasn't disappointed. Make sure you read the instructions though and don't overdo, you can always go back tomorrow and pick up strags. I always use an aloe vera gel afterwards and haven't had any problems

Useful item
This seems to work quite well on small fine hairs but does leave bigger ones behind. gets warm quite quickly so you need to keep moving it around. I use it to get small hairs around my eyebrows and this well there.

Fine on 'peach fuzz' rubbish on 'fuse wire'.
Very disappointing results compared to epilators that I've used previously. Takes ages going over the same area with coarse hairs to ge them removed - quicker to tweezers in my experience. I'm sending mine back as unfit for purpose.

When the original Epilady for the legs came out, my Mom and I both used it. Now, neither one of us has hair on our legs; the Epilady caused the hair to stop growing. I love never having to shave anymore! So when I saw that they now have one for the face, I decided to try it. And it's just as good as the other one. Hopefully, this will, eventually, keep the hair from growing there, too. I don't find that this product hurts. I can feel the hair being removed, but it's not a painful thing for me. I've read through some of the other reviews, and I may have some helpful hints. 1) Pull the skin tight in the area that you're going over. You need to get the hair into the coil as well as keep the skin away. Doing this will prevent you from having the skin pulled up into it (which doesn't hurt but does feel odd). 2) Slowly but continuously. You need to keep the unit going over the area in a continuous motion. However, don't rush it. You need to allow enough time for the hairs to get caught - it's not doing that if you're moving it too quickly. 3) It works best if you use it daily for the first week or two. Doesn't have to be a long time each session, but doing it every day will allow the shorter hairs to grow just enough to get caught - without allowing them to be so long that they're unsightly. 4) If you're finding that it's not removing the hair properly, you may not be allowing the coil to get to the hair. Be sure that you're holding it such that it's flat against the skin (put your forefinger on it like you're pointing at something and then rest the unit on your face such that your finger is parallel to your face). If you're not holding it so that the hair is allowed to get in there, it's not going to work. Remember that what it's doing is providing an "automatic tweezer" type of removal - hair has to be in there to tweeze. 5) Be sure that you're going in all directions. This is why going in a circular motion is helpful. Hair grows at different angles on your face. Therefore, you need to catch it in the way that it comes out easily. This may be why some reviewers are finding that it's not removing a particular type of hair. If you're not finding that it's getting the hair in one area of your face, it could be that you're trying to remove it in the wrong direction. Try going in the other direction on the hair, and it'll catch. This tip also helps with any discomfort you may have with the product. If you're trying to remove hair against the grain, you're going to feel it more than if you're pulling it out in the direction that it grows. I do recommend this product. If it's used correctly, it does work. And, if it proves to be as great as the original Epilady, I won't have to use it forever. The hair will stop growing in this area!

Finally I found something that works to take the blond mustache off my upper lip. It does sting a tad, but if you follow instructions it is not bad at all. Would definitely recommend this product

I bought a brand name, thinking it would be worth having. I was wrong. This is a simple spring coil. It turns with no real power to pluck stray facial hairs. It does seem to snag tiny peach fuzz a bit but if it grabs a thick chin hair, it just yanks and pulls skin, like someone pulling a hair but not actually removing it. So, it hit the same hair repeatedly and doesn’t pull it out. This was a huge waste of time and money. I missed the return window, as I forgot about it, after my initial disappointment. I’ll look for a better design because this one doesn’t work for me.

What a disappointment! I don't have an awful lot of facial hair, but I do have one rather hairy patch under my chin that bothers me immensely, as well as one stray black hair on my chin that keeps coming back. I have tried everything to make this gadget work: apply baby powder, don't apply baby powder, hold it this way, hold it that way, move it in circles, move it up and down... nothing seems to work! I understand it might not work on short hair, but it doesn't work on longer (not even very fine) hair, either. Today I went over ONE hair for over 5 minutes until it finally got it. Oh, sure, it tugged at it all right, but somehow it doesn't have enough hold to grip it tightly and get it out. I know this hair... we have become well acquainted over the last few years, and it is not like it takes a lot to pull it out... Trying to get this gadget to clear our my hairy under-chin patch is hopeless. There aren't so many hairs that I cannot pluck them, but they are in a rather awkward place for me to be able to see properly to pluck, and invariably I'll miss one or two. I was hoping this would take care of them all. Unfortunately it doesn't. It generates a lot of noise and heat, but accomplishes nothing.
