got these running on three turtle tanks. idk wtf these ppl talking about but mine have not burned out running for 1.5 years no problem. i swap them out every 6 months and keep old one as emergency in case a new 1 burns out but so far havent had to do so

Burned out in 4 days, that must be some kind of record!
Burned out within 4 days of usage for 12-hour periods. I NEEDED this bulb for my new lizard tank and thankfully it burned out before the lizard was purchased. I have plants in my tank that needed the light, but thankfully Amazon agreed to quickly send a replacement for the time being. Absolutely NOT worth $30.

Bulb burns out quickly...maybe I got a bunk bulb?
This bulb burned out in just a couple days of use. I put it in a Fluker's Repta-Clamp Lamp and with it only on for 12 hours a day for 4 days it burned out. Its possible I had a bunk bulb.

Unbelievable…
Spend $50+ on a specialized lightbulb and they can’t even be bothered to package it. Mailed out in its original box. I was worried as soon as I saw it…And I had every right to be as the bulb worked for about three minutes and then fizzled out. Beyond pissed off.
