Beautifully simple and make getting into a lens really easy.Not sure I would've been able to get into my old k-mount pentax lenses without them. I highly recommend these if you need to service a lens yourself.There's a great selection of sizes and they provide a ton of friction.

UPDATED JANUARY 2018:(Since I left my original 1 star feedback, I have used the rubber tools on many occasions to get me out of tricky situations. They also worked well to grip edges.I think I was too harsh with the one star and will now revise it to 4 stars.)Below is the original feedback.I service lenses and this product didn't help me at all in unscrewing vintage lens without the pits.Firstly, the rubber is way too soft and you can't get any grip or leverage without it collapsing and squashing.They should have made it with a more stiff rubber material which would have been perfect.You may just get away with the larger ones to remove the front decorative name plate, but not the rear lens rings without the pits.I chanced it because it's much cheaper than the proper yellow ones but what's the point if it doesn't work?This is exactly "you get what you pay for"I hope this review will help you to fine tune your product

Feels quality and there's enough firmness to them to help grip when tinkering with lenses

Speedy delivery but great care needed in using this product if it's going to come anywhere near optical surfaces. Selection of sizes didn't really suit my Nikkor lenses when attempting to remove front serial number collar for example.

Indispensable if you want to repair /clean camera lenses, Its normally vintage lenses that require cleaning etc and often the fitler threads are "stiff". These are a boon to releasing stubborn elements and rings. Seems expensive for some bits of rubber, but compared to the cost of a professional cleaning soon repay their cost. Not worth it if its just a one of lens to be cleaned as with the other tools required you might as well get it done professionally cost wise

Bought to help remove filter thread of lens, worked well but took a few minutes to get used to, did the job

These saved me from having to get my lens de-mouded by an a 3rd party. They provide a good range of sizes that fitted around the text cover of the the lens i was using.

These are fantastic! They make working on watches and optical equipment so much easier. The rubber feels like good quality rubber. It grips surprisingly well and hangs on until you have backed out the item that you are working on.

So far have dismantled and repaired three vintage camera lenses. These friction openers make life easy.
