Goddess of Love Tarot: A Book and Deck for Embodying the Erotic Divine Feminine

What a stunning deck! I absolutely am obsessed. Done in a divine feminine collage style, and dripping with roses and snakes….I just love every card. In this deck Strength is lust, whether that is to fit the theme or because it is Thoth based remains to be seen as I have only glanced at the book. There are several changes in the names of the major arcana, and the court cards are renamed to be Witch, Crone, Queen and Maiden. For the Major arcana, there is a Goddess for each card as well. As for diversity, there is a fair bit, and Goddesses from all different pantheons, which I love. As for the cards themselves…I’m not going to lie, the quality could be better. They are thin and paper like. I don’t believe they have a core and they would tear without trying too hard. But they are definitely not the worst I have seen, and they do rifle shuffle fine. I may grab a back up as I plan on this deck getting some heavy use. The rest of the set is done well. Sturdy box and nice book. All in all, this is my favorite MM release of the year. It’s so right up my alley, as collage decks are my jam. And this deck fills a niche not done already, focusing on all aspects of love and sex and Goddess. Do I wish the cards were a luscious linen stock? Yes. Will that stop me from loving this gorgeous deck?? No way! I can’t stop looking at it….kudos to the creator! Also! In one of the above photos I have used a crystal and a little brown bird button to cover nudity, as I don’t know Amazon’s policy for that.

Loved this deck, it was a February favorite. I took too long adding this deck to my collection. Finally I am glad I did. It will be a deck I use every February. Card stock is good, the deck is good. Guidebook has some unique info. My opinion.

SUCH a beautiful deck, WOW! the idea of a deck centered around the divine feminine and love has been explored before, but not like this. the artwork is fresh and the energy is exhilarating. i am a HUGE fan of the collage art that was used to create the imagery and each card is more beautiful than the last. i echo another reviewer who said they would pay for a deluxe edition with gilded edges (gold, red, or pink maybe?) and perhaps better card stock as my only minor hangup is the paper thin card stock, but the artwork more than makes up for it. the cards are a great size as well! slightly larger than a standard tarot deck without being unwieldy. i love that as it made the artwork stand out even more. i could go on about this deck but my opinion is this is one of the most well done mass market decks that have come out in years.

The attention to detail alone in the imagery ignites a fire within, stirring up the sacred & stepping into the same sea foam from which Venus came. The Goddess of Love tarot is your first step for worshipping Venus & developing a relationship with her. This is a must have for your Tarot collection. The power put into this work of art is inevitably emotionally & spiritually moving. This deck masters bringing the portal for love & devotion into the audience's experiences. I am in awe at the space this deck provides and expands within myself. I haven't experienced such a present feeling with a deck before. But this deck facilitates new feelings with the tenderness of the Goddess, which is within us all. I recommend this to every one out there - Gabriela's expertise allows the reader a confident foundation to approach the most sacred (and liberating) topics of one's power and connection to the divine. Jaw dropping and the next instant classic.

The artwork on this deck is absolutely gorgeous. It has such a soft, romantic, divine feminine energy and really pulls you in when you’re working with it. That said, the card stock is thinner than I personally prefer. It feels more like playing cards than a thicker, more durable tarot deck. It’s still usable, just not as sturdy or luxe-feeling as I was hoping for.

I just got this deck a couple weeks ago. I absolutely love it. I would like the guidebook to be a little bit bigger for bigger print but I still do love it because it gives spreads and things to help with things I actually need help with and want to use it for so yay now I don’t have to google it and I love how each card gives you a journal question to make you dive deeper into your self reflection! I think this is going to be a wonderful tool in my tarot journey for self love and other things

One of my favorite decks I own. I come back to it time and time again. The imagery is beautiful and the guidebook is SO good. The cards are easy to shuffle. Maybe a tiny bit thin. Still recommend 10/10 I’d love to see this deck rereleased with some reallyyyyy luxurious thick shiny paper, because the images are so beautiful. I would pay for a limited edition ”fancy” version.

Gorgeous tarot deck that was gifted to a close friend. She absolutely loved it! The art is impeccable, and this deck is sturdy. I might have to purchase one for myself!

Beautiful deck! The cardstock isn't as bad as some reviews but I would recommend to be careful while shuffling. It has a slightly strong smell but I know it will fade away. Gorgeous guide. Edit: i decided to edge my tarot as the scuffing got particularly bad in my deck. I hope the second edition has better cardstock

Die Karten sind künstlerisch sehr beeindruckend und haben enormen Tiefgang, auch wenn sie auf den ersten Blick flauschig-fluffig in ihrer rosaroten Aufmachung wirken. Das Deck ist ein Tool für Frauen*, die mittels Tarot wirklich ans EIngemachte gehen, Traumata aufarbeiten und/oder Schattenarbeit leisten wollen. Das kleine, feine Booklet beschäftigt sich strikt mit Deutungen rund um das Thema Weiblichkeit und Sexualität, ohne dabei heterozentristisch zu sein. Herstik nimmt zwar Bezug auf das klassische Rider/Waite/Smith-Tarot, hält sich aber nicht mit den klassischen Deutungen auf. Jedem großen Arcanum ist (kulturell eklektisch) eine Göttin zugeordnet, mit der man sich weiter beschäftigen kann. Auch gibt es zu jeder Karte weiterführende Journaling-Ideen. Ich glaube, dass es von Vorteil ist, wenn man zumindest eine Grundahnung vom Rider/Waite/Smith-Tarot hat, bevor man sich auf dieses Deck stürzt, Vielleicht reichen auch Intuition und die Kraft der wirklich starken, tiefgehenden Bilder, um auch ohne Vorkenntnisse Nutzen aus diesem Tarot zu ziehen.
