Portable Retro Vintage Radio Bluetooth

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I don't write reviews very often, but this one deserved it. I bought this because I loved the old-fashioned look, and it did not disappoint. It has such a cool retro vibe, and I can't tell you how many people have asked me where I got it. The sound is so much better than I expected—clear, full, and plenty loud. I also really like that I have options for powering it. It has a solar panel, takes batteries, and comes with a charging cord, which makes it perfect for using around the house, on the deck, or even if the power goes out. This has honestly been one of my favorite Amazon purchases in a long time. I'd buy it again without hesitation.

Bought this lil radio for a camping trip. Charged it fully before we left, and it ran for a full day. Charged it using the solar panel on day two and it kept going well into the night. Had to put batteries in on day three due to overcasting, so that's a great feature as well. Very loud for it's size, and great reception. Small enough to fit in an overstuffed vehicle. Lightweight, easy to carry, and easy to tune. Love the retro design. Definitely recommend for trips where electricity is not available.

Impressive radio. great sound, good volume, good reception - compact & light. Great for using outside at our pool - solar panel keeps it going for a long time. Haven't used the blue tooth connection yet. It even has a holder for your phone. And it looks very cool.

I grabbed this just before going camping this Nov. It's simple and has it's own rechargeable battery along with a bay for regular batteries. It picked up strong stations pretty well. The tuner , you can hear it step through the frequencies as you're turning the dial but it's ok. It's going to either pick up the station or it won't. I worried about how long it could go on a charge. SO I took all the batteries out of it and put it in the sunlight and on a very low volume, it'll operate from light alone. SO I'm guessing it's using just a little over a watt while it's operating at low volume. This was perfect for my camping set up as I had it going on super low volume on a local soft rock station for nearly all of the day. I put that at least at 18 hours at a time. I would recharge it with one of my power stations over night after bed. I never let it go completely dead so I can't say how long it owuld have gone. It's visually pleasing. It fit in my camping gear set up with no issues. All the little bits fold up nicely. I'm pretty happy about this little radio. I had wanted a stereo with the same kinda fit and finish but too much $ and no good reviews. This one is a thumbs up! Don't think you're getting some BOSE or something. It's a single speaker radio.

This radio exceeded my expectations. It's small, super easy to set up. Good quality sound. It's cute and can also be used as a speaker to play music from your phone via Bluetooth. If you have a tiny memory card with music on it (MicroSD card), this radio can play that too. Controls are good enough; I haven't had any issues with adjusting volume. Also, it's rechargeable and super easy to charge (I don't believe it comes with a wall charger, but it can be plugged into a USB charger). It charges quickly when plugged into the charger and holds the charge for a long time. It also self-recharges using a small solar panel it has, which I think is great in case we have no power. I've been using this radio daily for the past few months, and I love it. UPDATE MAY 2026: I knocked off 1 star because tuning can be tricky. It's a very compact radio, hence finding a particular radio station can be tricky. I tried to mark the dial with my three favorite radio stations, yet this morning I'm having a hard time finding the station I listen to every morning. SUGGESTION TO THE SELLER/MANUFACTURER: I wish this radio had 3 preset buttons so I could program those stations and press the button to listen to each.

I honestly didn't buy this radio to listen to music—I bought it as a deer deterrent for my hydrangea garden. Since I'm rarely at my second home, I leave it playing 24/7, and it has exceeded every expectation. Ironically, when I am there gardening, I find myself enjoying the music just as much as the deer probably don't! What impressed me most is how well it performs outdoors. It has survived weeks of blazing sun, rain (I keep it in a simple Ziplock bag tucked under a bush), and constant use without missing a beat. The reception is outstanding. Unlike other portable radios I've tried that are full of static or struggle to find stations, this one consistently pulls in clear music with excellent reception. Battery life is another huge surprise. I use Duracell batteries, and they've lasted for weeks even with the radio running continuously. I actually own the optional solar panel, but because I keep the radio shaded under the bushes, I haven't even needed to use it. If you're looking for an outdoor radio with excellent reception, incredible battery life, and durability, I can't recommend this enough. Whether you're using it for entertainment, gardening, camping, or even keeping deer away from your garden like I do, it's been one of those rare purchases that has far exceeded my expectations.

I love this radio/speaker! The radio itself is good. The little phone holder function is nice. It looks great. But the solar charging function is the stand out for this. I’ll put it out in the sun in the morning, leave it all day, and it will easily run radio for a full 24 hours or more. I will also note, I had it out charging in the sun and a surprise storm came about and dumped just buckets of water on this radio. I thought it was probably a goner. I let it dry out for around three days and it still works perfectly. I love it enough that I ordered a second one.

Wow! This thing is small but powerful & cute! Very well thought out. 1) Sound: This little radio is powerful enough to play outside for a small party. It Has FM/AM, Bluetooth, USB Slot on the side for thumb drives, & a Memory card slot as well! Bluetooth pairing was as simple as swithing the slider to bluetooth then finding it on my phone, select, then paired. You can play/pause, rewind, & skip to next song from the buttons on the radio. 2) Charging: It comes with a USB-A to USB-C power cable but no power cube. You can power this radio via USB-C, via the built-in solar panel, or use (2) D-sized batteries in the back. 3) What I REALLY thouth was smart is the fact that they made the provided rechargeable battery easily removeable in case it eventually goes bad or if you have a spare one. It's a special solar battery that you can buy here on Amazon. Search "18650 solar battery" 4) Solar Panel: It has an adjustable solar panel & automatically starts charging even on cloudy days. You don't have to worry about moving a switch to solar/battery/USB etc. It just does it on it's own. 5) Minor drawbacks: No headphone jack & no usb power cube included. They would have to raise the price to offer these so I'm not complaining at all. This would be a great gift for anyone who likes a little nostalgia but wants the modern features we all expect. For the features at $22 I would rate it a 9.8 out of 10

Lo recomiendo ampliamente - al precio cumplió mis expectativas. Estéticamente es una pieza bonita; funcionalmente es excelente. La recepción es muy buena aún en lugares donde las señales son malas. Cute little radio. It came on time and was the size as stated. Light weight and it picked up many am/fm stations (more than my Dewalt portable radio). The short range channels were fun to listen to, as a Canadian I picked up a few USA broadcasters. It hooked up to my phone (Bluetooth) with no issues. The station display is very small so you have to turn the tuning knob very slightly to go thru the channels. The sound is reasonable, a little too much bass in some songs (no adjustments ie. bass, treble etc on the radio) don't expect Bose quality sound. I bought it because it was both battery powered and solar but haven't tried it out in the sun yet.Overall it met my expectations for a $40 battery/solar powered radio.

When I opened it, I was surprised at its small size. BUT, it's awesome! It's got a great sound, easy Bluetooth setup to your phone, and that awesome little phone stand when you lay the handle down! I love the option of solar power, batteries or charging. I let it charge several hours to fully charge and that will last for up to 4 days before I have to plug it back in to recharge. I haven't used the solar part yet but I will when I go rving in the spring. AM FM and shortway radio. I'm going to get a lot of use out of this! If there were more stars I would give more stars. PS and it's cute
