I have a similar item but it shoots manually a pellet per squeezing the trigger. This one is an 'auto shoot' at a rapid rate. Uses USB to 'recharge' power. I like this better than the manual one. Shoots the water filled "pellets" , but powerful, and you can feel the pellets hit, even through clothing. FYI_ if you shoot at someone in areas where no clothes like shorts, bare skin legs, it will leave a bigger 'sting' and marks on the skin that do fade after a day or so. It has a 'punch' to it if shooting at other people so caution to not shoot at someone's face. lol. I haven't determined battery life between each charge , but it's sturdy, fun and easy to use.

These guns are a lot of fun. They hit a little harder than other brands. The gravy happen allows for more shots than other magazine style ones and quicker reload. They hurt enough to be fun and to need eye protection but not enough to damage. No clean up is awesome.

Disappointing. The units are advertised as 4 hours of play from the battery and I can barely get 3 minutes of play out of the units. Here is a response I received from the support case. "Some of the older models are having this issue, and we have discontinued this since taking over the company at the beginning of this last year. What I would recommend since purchased through AMZ is returning and getting your money back and going to GelBlaster.co.uk and purchasing a Surge 2.0 or XL 2.0 model. " See my video for guidance. My son saved up for these and done a lot of research before committing to buy one for him and one for his brother. It's a shame to now have to return these with no other repair or guidance option. I would understand if it was just 1 of the units and would probably try a repair myself but for both units to go down shows a battery quality issue. Other than they when you do get to use them, they are great toys and a lot of fun. The range and FPS are as expected but you definitely get what you pay for.

My son loves it but he’s very disappointed that the battery life only seems to be about 45 minutes; not 4 hours as advertised.

This is a great gel blaster shoots consistently at over 200 FPS has very good RPS and I love the glow-in-the-dark feature and the thousand round hopper and I love how you can read how the battery power is and love the removable stock in the power adjustment switched, and I love the fin tip And I love how they’re interchangeable to show what team you’re on

I have shot a lot of different gel blasters and this one by far is the best. It out performs every other one I have ever shot from its high speed, power, accuracy, and how easy it is to use and setup. The battery life is insane for how many shots you can put through this gel blaster and even has a bright light indicating the battery life. The only knock I have on this gun is that if you are playing at night the light on the gun really does give your position away.
