I bought this for grinding herbs for my capsules. Works well and I’m happy with my purchase. Clean it and take care of it and it will give good results. It is rather loud but what do you expect with a grinder.

I have been trying to figure how I was going to review this grain mill. I have a manual grain mill and it is gives me a major arm workout, so I jumped at this electric grain mill. I followed the instructions and ground some rice up and it was powder in 30 seconds. I did find out that I didn't screw down the lid enough when it didn't work at first, but once I locked the cover down it started. It is loud and runs hot. I filled the mill 2/3 full of wheat berries and again it turned them to flour in 30 seconds. I was shocked by how quickly it works. The instructions give times for other things to grind, like mung beans and coffee. I would follow those times in the instruction book, because I think they are spot on. This is a good price for a grain mill and it works fast. It is relatively easy to clean with the enclosed brush. It also comes with extra blades for when they get dull. Just remember that it is loud and gets hot to the touch. Other than that, it is a great buy.

I have taken up bread making in my retirement! Something my mother did but I just didn't have the knack for it it seemed to me. After ruining a few batches of bread I gave it up. That's a LOT of flour to be throwing away for nothing! But as it turns out, I'm pretty decent at making an edible loaf of bread! I'm ready to break into something new - and, since I live in the bread basket of America with grain fields in every direction trying this grain mill only made sense. And I'm loving it! It is powerful and sturdy as a rock. It's a little noisy - depending on what you grind - but it doesn't take long to turn whole grains into flour. I've tried wheat and some oats. I'm looking to give some legumes a try and see how that turns out. This is a work horse and it makes the kitchen look like I know what I'm doing when it's setting out. Which is all the time because it doesn't take up much room, I use it daily and it is really attractive to look at and sends out a good message about the cook.

This is a heacy-duty machine. It's built great, holds a decent amount of product. It's perfect for grinding coffee beans or wheat
