Perfect for in the car or on the go
These are really great to have for travelling or for taking out and about for injuries. They are 15x15cm which isn't the largest in the world but it is also not small. With a larger injury they probably wouldn't cover the entire area of what you would want it to. These are really quick and simple to use and in the moment they are very easy to activate, you find the pouch inside, hold pressure until the small pouch inside bursts and then shake. This instantly will make the pack feel ice cold which offers a great cooling feeling on the skin just as if you got it out the freezer. This pack lasts for around 25 minutes until it is about room temperature or just a little cold.I find these to be really effective. I use mine to help me with grounding when I am feeling overwhelmed or distressed these are a massive help and can help me feel more present and having these mean I can use them on the go or when getting an ice pack from the freezer is inaccessible.I think they are okay value for money too, they are obviously going to be more pricey given the product that they are but they are highly effective and have made a huge difference to my life and are perfect for a range of different situations as you never know when you're going to need one of these

In heatwave they don't stay cold very long but maybe they could be refreezed, I'm not sure.
5* because it was brilliant. In this heat wave it didn't stay cold for long. However they are brilliant for my overheating teenager with ASD. The one I tested didn't leak, size could be a little bigger but not complaining as they're great relief.

Trapped nerve
This was a desperate middle of the night purchase when I trapped a nerve in my shoulder/arm and spent a night in the bathroom with my arm submerged in cold water. Couldnโt stay there all day. as much as I love my husband there are just some things I donโt need to see him do in the bathroom. These worked really well, they soothed the burning sensation really quickly.Hide them from the kids though, they are like plasters, the minute the kids catch a glimpse of them they suddenly have an injury that desperately needs a kool pack

Works, useful in a pinch
Iโve bought the large ones of these before and thought Iโd try the small ones to save space in first aid kits which I keep at home, in the car, in my studio workshop, etc.I had reason to try them after spraining an ankle, and found them a little tricky to get started. The trick to popping the inner bag seems to be put a finger on each end of the tube and push together, rather than squeeze in the middle. They do get nicely cold, but donโt stay that way for very long. As youโre supposed to ice a sprain for ten minutes on, ten minutes off, it would take more than one as it is no longer very cool after 20 minutes. (I think the bigger ones last longer). But still very useful in a pinch and this size would be especially good for childrens bumps and bruises. For an adult ankle I had difficulty getting it to stay put as it doesnโt drape around like the larger size - it could be held in place with a bandage if needed though.

Great item
I bought these after having eye surgery and they were great to use in the first days of recovery to reduce swelling. Quick and easy to use, and felt more hygienic than re-using an ice pack. Stay cold for a long time. Perfect size for what I needed.

Portable alternative to ice
These were recommended to me by our work first-aider after I dropped a steel bar on my foot - what a miraculous item that I didn't even know was in existence! In this hot weather the ice in my freezer is strictly for beverage use only, plus we have no freezer at work, so these are a great, portable alternative. You just break the inner sachet and shake it around for a few seconds and you have an instant ice pack. No melting, leakage or dripping. Perfect.

Disappointing โ Barely Gets Cold
I bought this instant ice pack to help with an injury, but unfortunately it didn't perform as expected. Even after activating it correctly, it never got particularly cold and certainly not cold enough to provide effective relief. The biggest issue is that it only stayed cool for around 5 minutes before returning close to room temperature. For an ice pack, that's simply not long enough to be useful.I was expecting a much colder temperature and a longer cooling period. Sadly, I wouldn't purchase this product again and would recommend looking for a reusable gel pack instead.Pros: Easy to activate.Cons: Doesn't get very cold and loses its cooling effect within minutes.
