Love it!
Love this!! It’s a beautifully written, encouraging, and deeply human look at some of the most powerful relationships in Scripture. Rather than retelling Bible stories in a dry or academic way, Shannon Bream brings them to life by focusing on the emotions, struggles, faith, failures, and redemption inside each story.

Great Book of Love Stories from the Bible
I purchased this book to use for a ladies’ Bible study group. We meet monthly and discuss one chapter each month. It has been an excellent source and the author is truly amazing. Such an each read. The group truly loves her style of writing and getting together to discuss each chapter. But it is also a great book just to read on your own.

Excellent Analysis of Bible Relationships
I love Shannon Bream’s writing style! Her insight into Bible relationships puts perspective on relationships experienced every day by normal people. The book structure makes it easy to read and understand. She uses relevant Scriptures for reference to show God’s presence in the lives of people we love in the Bible. This is a great book to gift, and it’s a excellent read!

Very uplifting and informative!
I really enjoyed reading this! The stories were uplifting and relevant to our modern relationships. I also liked that she included friendships as well. Very well written and enlightening.

Excellent book and very thorough.
I am a big fan of Shannon Bream, so I had to get this book when I saw it. I read a story a night until I finished and wished there were more. Shannon doesn't just retell each story, but adds her own insights, and she challenges the reader to apply what they glean from the pages. Real love is not just an emotion, it is an action and Shannon nails it.

Good study, but not “love stories”
I enjoyed the study, but struggled with the author’s use of the term “love story”. For example, Esther and Xerxes or Abigail and David. Great Bible stories and we can definitely learn from them, but they are not “love stories”.

I love Shannon Bream’s spirituality. All her books reflect this. We need Gods hope and Shannon does a great job showing those stories that give hope
