MAXAM - 100% Organic Industrial Strength Cleaner

For many years I attempted to find a product that would remove cat spray odor. When my friend told me that he got rid of cat urine odor with this product, I was cautiously excited to try it out. I bought Maxam through Prime so I could have it fast (the other products were not available through Prime). The manufacturer, Freshana, has other products just for pets, I'm not sure what the difference is.As soon as I got it home I sprayed it on the cat's marking areas. I used about 3/4 of the bottle going all over the house. Within about 20 minutes the house smelled fresh. A couple days later some friends visited and they said they noticed just a *slight* cat spray smell.If I could I would buy this by the 55-gallon barrel.If you have pets and your house is "less than fresh-smelling," this product is amazing. No scrubbing, just spray it on and breathe easy again. There are no harmful chemicals to humans or pets in Freshana's products.

This stuff isn't that good. I wouldn't suggest buying it

This is my go-to stuff for food surfaces clean up and gentle cleaning on fine furniture that needs scrubbing. But, I think Freshana's main advantage is eliminating odors. You still have to clean up visible signs of whatever is causing the odor but if it's just residual smell in a room, area or an item, with enough treatments Freshana has always eliminated the smell. This has worked on old musty bathrooms, cat rooms, sports equipment, kid shoes and cars. The aerosol version is even better at it than this spray, especially for treating rooms before a real estate showing.I don't really get the negative reviews about smelling weird. It doesn't really have a scent, since it doesn't mask odors like most every other air freshener that makes me gag. I guess it has a perceptible smell initially, not unpleasant, but it dissipates as it seems to act on whatever offending odor you had. Give it time and several treatments and it's always gotten rid of the odor for me, provided the source has been removed (whatever gross thing that may be).Also, I really like it for use around cooking surfaces and food. It doesn't have a harsh chemical smell that stays on my hands or isn't food safe. In fact, there's some video of a person drinking it to show it's food safe. Haven't tried that. It's more effective at removing grease than vinegar and water and won't stain or strip finish off your countertops since it's supposed to be ph neutral. Acids are not good for stone. Also, vinegar doesn't smell so great around my food either.And, I use it in place of Murphy's oil soap since Freshana doesn't leave an oil film but seems to not mar finishes like harsh cleaners on nice furniture or a dining table top. Overall, great stuff!

This is by far the best cleaning product I've used.I've switched over to using their entire product line.Here's what sold me:I had a new shirt that got some gasoline spilled on it. We tried everything to remove it and nothing worked before I got this. I soaked the clothes for a bit in a mix of this and water, ran it thru the wash and the clothes were just like new. Then I did a comparison on how well it cleaned my shower and it worked great without any noxious odors.Here's what I like about it:1) it actually works & better than most name brand cleaners (chemical or nontoxic)2) it literally absorbs and completely eliminates odors.3) it has a very, very mild odor that disapates quickly (smells is a light mix of coconut and palm oil).4) it's non-toxic and safe to use anywhere and around anyone (pets, children, food, etc)My wife and I used to use the JR Watkins products, but this stuff works way better and you get more for about the same price.

Very disappointed with product not living up to the name smells weird these guys are pricks
