The chain has a multitude of uses.
The chain is great and looks pretty for what I am using it for. I did cut it in two sections. I use it on hooks to hold things like pot holders and hand towels in my kitchen. On another rack, I used a different part of the chain, to put s hooks in to hold my rolling pins. The chain really has a multitude of uses that it is greatly suited for. And it is nice looking. It is very sturdy and definitely not a cheap flimsy chain. I will purchase more, as I have many more things that this will be useful for. This chain is well made.

Magnetic 304 stainless steel?
I ordered this chain because it was inexpensive and has many potential uses indoor and out. The length measured out to just short of 10 feet (9.8 feet is what the product description says the length is). This chain feels strong enough to easily hang plants and some heavier objects. As a security chain, you'd only be keeping people honest and maybe smaller animals secured.The description says it's made of SUS304 stainless steel but is strongly magnetic which leads me to believe that it is not as corrosion resistant as it claims to be and will rust in time.I'm not sure exactly how the manufacturer measured the chain, but my measurements with a micrometer were a bit different.Overall, this chain is probably amongst the least expensive you'll find compared to a local store, with some compromises.
