The Life and Times of the Honeybee

This is a child’s book but I learned so much about bees. It is very well done, interesting and informative with lovely illustrations.

Wonderful little book purchased for my grandson after he tried to steal his grandmother's copy.

I was looking for a little book about honey bees as another visual for a presentation I was doing. This one was not only a pretty quick and easy read, but full of wonderful information. For anyone looking to learn about honey bees, this is a great start. Easy enough for kids to understand with beautiful pictures, but informative enough for adults as well. (I'm big on people learning the difference between honey bees and wasps, I think this book is great tool for learning how to identify bees and why they are so important.)

This book is great! My husband is a beekeeper and he loves the information in it. He uses it to help when he tell kids about bees. There's so much good information in this little book.

I bought this for my 4 year old son because he wanted to learn more about bees. The book is good but I was hoping it would read more like a story with bee facts but it’s more of just a fact book. Very detailed which is good just not a good book to read your kids

I appreciate the beautiful illustrations in the book. There is too much information to use it as a story book for a 4-year old, but we did read through it once. It would be great for a primary student who wants to know more about bees. It was informative for Grandma, too!

Great way to learn about honey bees. I bought this book for my 7 year old granddaughter who will be helping her father in his first year of beekeeping. I read through the book myself and found it to be very accurate and an easy to understand.

Para quem é brasileiro, pois só vi gringos comentando, o livro é maravilhoso e bem detalhado sobre a colmeia, a estrutura física da abelha sobre a rainha o casulo como forma o mel, os produtos derivados livros extremamente detalhado e interessante. O livro é o qual tem a abelha gigante. Lembrando que ele é em inglês não é traduzido, a capa é comum não dura!

Bought for my 8 year old as he is interested in helping me keep bees. The illustrations are a good mix of factual drawings and cartoon type drawings. The information set at the right level for children to keep their interest.

O que mais amei foram as ilustrações. Mas o livro é completo! Repleto de informações sobre a vida das abelhas. Minhas filhas amam!
