Decently affordable but does shed
Revlon isn’t my first choice in beauty products but now that I’ve tried the Blush Brush I would actually consider buying others from the brand based on price. It’s not a long as I expected but this does make it handier for travelling with and with just over an inch length of bristles, does give a light touch and blend to blusher. The bristles are soft to the touch but still make it easy enough to blend out any harsher lines. I’ve tried it with both blush (Bare Minerals) and bronzer (Benefit and Bourjois) and would be quite happy using the same brush for both. Now this isn’t a top of the line brush and it does shed. I was expecting far more shedding actually but it wasn’t really that off putting to me. Some of it shed while using and others while washing – some long and some quite short but being black they are easy to spot and remove before going out. My Bare Minerals brush is about the same but with light bristles harder to spot.If you are just starting out your brush collection it is an affordable one to go for but I’d probably recommend Real Techniques. If you had the money though I would say go for something better like Sigma.

Revlon never disappoints.
I know I have said this before, but I just love Revlon products, whether it be lipsticks, eye shadows, blusher or even makeup brushes ... If it's Revlon then I know it going to be good. (I have used Revlon products for just over forty years now and I have never really been disappointed)And this Revlon Blush Brush is no exception. This black and metallic red blusher brush is a perfect size to hold comfortably. The handle is barrel shaped (and about the width of a jumbo crayon/marker) except where the metallic red meets the bristles, where it is flattened slightly. The bristles are black and very, very soft.I been using this Revlon blush brush for just over a week to apply blusher twice daily, I am in my fifties so soft subtle colour is important where blusher is concerned and this Revlon Blush Brush does the trick perfectly. The bristles being so soft allow for the layering of colour to build up depth which is great for achieving just the look you need.Perfect!

A lovely brush, but needed to be retractable to be brilliant.
This is indeed a perfectly soft and effective blusher brush. And looks pleasing too, if you care about these things.Brushes, however, for best life within a packed make-up bag need their own cases. And the bigger and softer the brush the more this is the case to avoid splay.I have a wonderful blusher brush, still going strong, after many years of use, from The Body Shop. The reason it is still going strong is because it comes with a retractable case. The case now looks remarkably tatty and discoloured, but the brush has no splay, as the cover slides up and holds the head together. This Revlon brush is less expensive, but I'm sure the brush itself will not last as long, because of the lack of protection. Sure, you could keep it in the plastic container it comes it, but that's quite large, and doesn't fit into any of my make-up bags

Too large for me
I am really surprised at the number of 4 and 5 star reviews for this product. I have for years been using a natural bristle Clinique blusher brush which has a handle 3" (8 cms) long and a bristle head about one inch (2.5cm) wide and deep. This allows me to apply compressed powder blusher in such a way that I can sculpt the effect on my cheeks. But it is getting a bit tired, so I was pleased ro be able to try this new Revlon product. I was amazed by how huge it is! The handle is 4"(10 cms) long and the brush head is 1.5" (4cms by 1.75" (4.5cm) wide. It is beautifully soft, but so soft that it does not seem to hold the blusher powder and I found that it applied it over a far larger area than I needed. The size of the brush makes it impractical to carry in a small handbag and would deter me from using it when travelling, again owing to size. I also feel the application is not good as you cannot define the area well enough. I may have to replace my Clinique brush instead!

Soft And Luxurious. A Good Brush.
A Confession?I passed this product over to my wife for testing. Here's what she said...The brush has soft, luxurious bristles which had the feel and look of real fur.(the actual source is not given)The Handle was really easy to grip and ensured that it made it easy to apply blusher. It is an attractive blank and pink and this made it easy to select from her cosmetic bag. With this brush the blusher went on evenly and smoothly.'And there you have it.From my point of view she look fabulous after using this when getting ready for the local villages Production of The Pied Piper Annual Panto held each year in the village hall in January North Cave - Don't Ask!

Revlon Blush Brush
. Comments from the wife -Only ever having used the small brushes that have come with my blushers, and not thought of having a specific brush for the job, when this one arrived via the Amazon Vine programme, I thought I would see how it went. This brush is a nice size and quite Chic with its Red and Black colouring. The bristles are soft and compact and you can use it to do light a light coverage on the cheeks or get a more defined look. It does not overload the skin with product either and gives a good coverageHaving read other reviews about the brush shedding, I have not, had any problems with this so far.It can be used in either hand quite easily. The case it comes in, is a bonus, with instructions should you need them.I think it could be a good starter brush for anyone, and is for me.The price is affordable too, without being over the top I would give it 5 out of 5.
