I would recommend sizing up if your recommended size is between sizes
It fits smaller than expected, especially over shoes intended for use in snow. I split the rubber over the toe section trying to get it over the toe of my boot. Probably my fault for trying to force it over the shoe instead of buying a larger size. I would recommend sizing up if your recommended size is between sizes.

I bought these for a friend who lives in Wisconsin about my age (80) and she loves them. I live in SD and have used similar since moving up here 5 winters ago. Only problem was having to take them off my shoes when going into a store with tile or smooth concrete floors because they can be as slippery as ice. I now have my cleats on a pair of sneakers and carry a pair of slip-on shoes to change into when going into stores and then back to the shoes with cleats when leaving. I won't go out when there is snow or ice without them and usually take them with me just in case if not wearing them when I leave the house. Great for taking my recycle and trash containers out to the curb instead of calling one of my grandsons.

Order way bigger if you want them to fit
I have a pair of these from many years ago. I ordered new ones because the rubber was old and ripped. I got the same size as last time a medium and the are way too small for my size women's 8.5 (US). Good news is I can keep them for my 5 year old!!!
