Jim Dunlop 431P1.14 Tortex Triangle Player Pack 6 Picks

Good for bass
I've been using tortex picks for around 25 years, since I was a teenager. Tbh, I wouldn't recommend these for guitar - even the lightest tortex picks are too inflexible for playing guitar (electric or acoustic), when you obviously need a lighter touch. However, when I play bass with a pick, I always use these (and in particular, this guage). They're robust enough to handle the strength of the bass strings, even if you really batter the strings - and the edge you get that way is good for pushing more top out of the bass. Also, unless you're in the habit of loosing your picks, these will basically last forever. I tend to use the pick at a slight angle, so I can see where they've worn, but they haven't worn to the extent that they inhibit my playing. If I was using regular plastic I'd have destroyed them long ago (even on a guitar rather than a bass).Tbh I've been using literally the same set of tortext picks for about twenty years and only bought a new set recently as I'd lost most of them over that time, so can recommend as something you'll get a lot of use out of.

Not the right review, but they aren't the right picks!
Ok, to be fair, the reason the review for these picks is so bad is that I was sent the wrong ones. Instead of large, triangular tortex picks I was sent small, teardrop nylon ones. Unfortunately I wasn't in a position to be able to return them so I ended up giving them a try.The ones I was sent are still Dunlop picks, but these are actually Kirk Hammett signature jazz picks. Why a thrash metal guitarist uses these dinky little jazz picks, I'm not sure. They have s good thickness to them, but they are so small I find them hard to use. They also have a strange v-shaped notch cut out of them. This is apparently for improved grip, but they are so small in the first place that I can't see how removing even more material helps with keeping them secure. So, in summation, I can't give a proper review of the Dunlop triangular tortex picks when I wasn't sent them. In fact, these were almost the exact opposite in specification. I wanted tortex, I got nylon. I wanted large, I got small, The ones I ordered have 3 picking corners, the ones I got have one.Oh well, at least they're still purple.

My new favourite
A bit bigger than regular picks. But for me that's not an issue. The best part is three points so essentially the life span of three picks. I'm pretty hard on picks and end up with the points ruined on all mine .These seem pretty tough anyway. But three picks in one. It's a no brainer

Great for bigger handed people!
Perfect for bigger hands like mine. Comfortable to grip, never seem to be slippy. Would recommend this shape plectrum for anyone with large hands!!

Perfect Pick Paradise
I’ve been playing bass for about 7 years now, I’ve gone through pretty much every pick you could imagine and have never been happy, I discovered these at the end of last year and they are perfect for me!I play fairly aggressively and with 105 strings normally for reference!
