Le Creuset Stainless Steel Signature Knob, Medium (2 in.), Iridescent

Beautiful color with a mixture of blue and purple, depending on the light. It was easy to install and the big knob is easy to grab with a big oven glove on. I put this on a light blue casserole dish so it was very complimentary in color.

Perfect switch! Needed to use enameled casserole in oven at a high temp, but couldn’t due to original plastic handles. Googled and found out a metal version was made so looked on Amazon and, sure enough, they exist! I found some that were iridescent and looked sharp on my pots (I changed them all!). Easy to put on. And now I can cook and bake in the oven with my coveted Le Creuset pieces.

As a longtime Le Creuset collector, I was excited to add this iridescent stainless steel knob as a fun little upgrade - but I actually used it in a slightly unconventional way. I swapped it onto a purple Crockpot braiser that I added to my collection because, while I have a large Le Creuset collection, their lineup is missing a large braiser that fit my needs. The original handle on the Crockpot was honestly my biggest complaint. It had sharp corners and an awkward design that didn't feel comfortable or match the look I wanted. Swapping it out for this Le Creuset knob completely changed the look of the pot and gave it that signature Le Creuset feel. I did add two small washers during installation to help secure the knob and make the fit feel more comfortable and stable. Installation took less than five minutes and was incredibly easy. The finished result looks just like the handles on the rest of my Le Creuset cookware and adds a fun pop of personality to my purple pot. I'm sure some serious Le Creuset collectors are probably rolling their eyes at putting a $30 handle on a $70 pot - but a Le Creuset braiser in this size would easily cost $350+ - so for me, this was a fun and affordable way to get the look and functionality I wanted without buying another expensive piece of cookware. (I also won't be peeved if my kiddo messes with this pot - finally a "fancy pot" he can use without worrying about damaging!) This knob is beautifully made, easy to install, and was exactly the upgrade I was hoping for. If you're looking to add a little flair to your cookware (Le Creuset or otherwise), this is a simple upgrade that makes a big visual impact.

This knob is very pretty. It’s made identical to the original using light weight stainless steel, so it doesn’t alter or improve the function of the oven. It is just as heat resistant as the original and has withstood a 450-degree oven temperature for more that an hour. This is identical to the original except that it’s anodized with color which should hold up to time and use. Installation is straightforward- unscrew the original and screw this knob on (the knob does come with a new screw). This is made in China, just like the original (just the cast iron portion of the oven is made in France). This should last as long the original would.

I purchased this knob to replace the original, half broken knob on my inherited and well used over several generations lid. I am so happy with the upgrade. My set is flame, and it actually looks and functions better than I had hoped. Much safer and ergonomic and doesn’t break itself or the cook. *\!/*

Wanted to upgrade my Dutch ovens for higher heat so I got the large multicolor knobs for my cherry(cerise) set. They are colorful enough for my crazy potato heart and the large size is a comfortable upgrade compared to my 4 quarts original size. Really easy to install too.
