OXO Good Grips Silicone Cooking Turner - Heat Resistant & Non-Stick

I received a Le Creuset set of toughened non-stick steel pans and wok for Christmas. I wanted a good set of silicone spatula and spoons to use with the pans - after all, good cookware deserves good accessories. I'm very pleased (so far) with my purchase - the silicons feels strong and good quality. It's effortless and does not scratch my non-stick pans. Easy to flip and scoop an egg - though I would say OXO may want to look into creating a wider spatula/slice as this is a little small for larger food items. I would definitely recommend the OXO Grips silicone turner.

Love this spatula, very sturdy, easy to use, does not scrape pan and cleans really, really easily, nothing sticks to it.

I have managed to melt this a little bit I thought it was heat proof

This is firm but (slightly) flexible and does the job. We've had some before that had the hanging loop on a separate section which fell off after a certain amount of use. No such problem with this as it is moulded all in one, and will hopefully therefore last considerably longer! Pleased.

I just love my silicone accessories, and this spatula is siomply the best. Strong, looks good, does the job, cleans easily and not a dent or burn on it after plenty of use.

I've used this for some time & it is still in perfect condition unlike many other similar items of similar price.

Mi piacciono molto i prodotti della oxo grip in silicone: ottima fattura, fanno il loro lavoro, durano nel tempo e non costano una follia.Utilizzo questa paletta spessissimo per girare cibo tipo farinata, frittata, burger veg e molto di più. E’ abbastanza grande per fare il suo lavoro senza essere mastodontica o ingombrante.Non riga le pentole anti aderenti e si puo’ Appendere grazie al “buco” posto all’estremita Del manico.

Espátula perforada de 35cm de largo por 8,5 cm de ancho (la parte de la paleta) que hace que pueda ser usada también como espumadera. Tiene un mango de goma que le da un buen agarre y la espátula en sí se compone de un alma de nylon recubierta enteramente por silicona térmica transparente. Se echa de menos una indicación de cuánto calor puede aguantar aunque estas siliconas suelen llegar a los 200º C. Las fotografías inducen a error pues el recubrimiento de silicona parece plástico pero se debe al brillo del propio recubrimiento.No es plana como algunas que se ven por ahí y tiene una forma que permite manejarse cómodamente en una sartén o wok.Edito un año y medio después. No sirve para freir croquetas, buñuelos o cualquier otra cosa que necesite gran cantidad de aceite caliente. Sin llegar a romperse, la silicona se despega del alma interior de plástico debido a la temperatura (algo menos de 200°). Sigue sirviendo para planchas, rehogos o fritos con poca profundidad de aceite.
