Wow. I have thoroughly enjoyed this product. I’ve been using it for a month and have definitely noticed a difference in my skin. I have oily acne prone skin and I use retinol and AHA products. Sometimes, I go slightly overboard and my skin barrier is compromised. This product always nourishes and moisturizes my skin. However, it also seems to heal any irritation I had from the other products and takes away the burning feeling of compromised skin barrier. It lasts all night and you wake up with supple smooth skin. There is no fragrance, it glides on your face, it is thick but your face can still breathe. I will definitely repurchase.

I bought this to help with moisturizing my skin that is somewhat sensitized. I get hormonal breakouts but with daily use of a prescription tretinoin and antibiotic cream I am able to keep them at bay. I also use a sulpher soap on work nights to cleanse thoroughly. All this has sensitized my skin. I use a thick nighttime moisturizer (C***ve Skin Renewing Night Cream) but it was still not enough for the dryness my skin was experiencing. I use this mask over my moisturizer and it soothes irritation and moisturizes my skin really well. Before I tried this mask I was using petroleum jelly over my moisturizer but this mask works better. It’s very thick but easy to spread. I’ve used it on my eyes and I’ve had no irritation. I apply it a couple hours before I go to bed and it soaks into my skin. After using it for a few weeks I think my skin is softer also. I will repurchase.

I don't know if it is actually doing anything but hopefully time will tell. It's a little sticky but I don't mind it because I don't sleep on my face anyways. I am not sure I would reorder this but it's a nice little pampering step for nighttime.

Okay hydration but don't expect miracles

So soothing! For the record I am late 30s with sensitive and acne prone skin that has been very oily up until the last 6 months and now tends toward being more dry. I bought this based on online recommendations for something to help my skin barrier and address some irritation/peeling I've been having. I use it as a last step after all other products at night and I wake up to soothed, glowy, happy skin. I'm sure if your skin is dry you could use a tiny bit during the day after your moisturizer, but it is a very wet, glowy product so be aware it may not work well under makeup. There are two issues I run into with sleeping masks or other products designed to be used over your moisturizer at night: either they are too heavy and cause acne/closed comedones or they are heavily fragranced and cause irritation. For me this one is light and more of a gel so it does not cause pore congestion for me. It also has a light fragrance and does not irritate my sensitive skin. It comes with a little scoop that locks into the cover that goes over the lid so you don't have to dip your fingers in the product to use it.
