Love, the fact that it has different levels of distance. It will throw the ball and our little Yorky gets so excited when we bring it out for him to play keeps him very active very durable and the noise level is very low.

This was a great idea and the balls are perfect but it starts to not shoot as far after a few hours.

Update: Although I still think this is a great and fun toy for my ball crazy dog, don’t get your hopes up for using it only with battery power. It’s a complete letdown and the batteries need to be replaced constantly. So much for taking this to the dog park with us 🥲So, I honestly have to say I had no idea what to expect when I found/ordered this ball launcher. Well, I have to say it's probably one of the best toys I've ever bought for my BALL CRAZY puppy. She is going completely crazy (in a good way) with this, and I think it's safe to say she LOVES it. Some people may think this is a little on the pricey side, but if you have a small dog who wants to do nothing but chase balls all day long than it is worth every single penny. The only thing I regret is that I didn't buy this for her 10 years ago. She missed out on years of fun with this one. Oh, and it works off a power cord OR EIGHT SIZE C BATTERIES. So, if you plan on taking it to the park or using it in the yard don't forget to order the batteries so you will all good to go!

After weeks of researching, we thought this would be perfect for our slobbery corgi. Within a week, the pushing mechanism inside broke off on one side. Even though the ball doesn't get soaked with slobber, after about the fourth use, it stops working because the rollers inside get too wet. Very disappointed. We have to swap out the balls and clean the inside while he is using it if we want it to keep operating. We still use it because our dog seems to like it but we cannot let him use it unattended as we had hoped.

I should have listened to the reviews. 2nd or 3rd time using it and it stopped working.

The launcher works well, however the balls are smaller than average tennis balls and are a soft rubber which makes for a choking hazard for larger dogs. My dog likes to chew them and can't be left unattended therefore cannot use the launcher as intended. Would be ideal for small and mini dogs.

I've ordered other ball throwers for my little schnauzer however I've had to send them back due to the noise. She was afraid of them. And she doesn't bark at the vacuum (I did work with her giving her treats and letting her become accustomed to the vacuum and the noise it makes over a few weeks) Now, she could care less if I bring it out.This ball thrower doesn't bother her, I did the same thing with the treats, letting her smell it and see it sitting there for a few days, I'm showing her how to drop the ball in, however she seems to prefer I do it as she likes the interactions. At least for now. :-)I do recommend this machine; my daughter is buying one for her dogs as well. They don't like the noise of the one she has and will not use it. I am ordering another one so I will have one for another area in the house.

Looks great in theory. Like other reviewer's it worked for a few days. Maybe three days that I played with it---before it started failing. the balls are small too! If you have a medium 40lb dog these balls are small, and they can choke if not supervised. You have to supervise. I was hoping for some entertainment when I was away from the house.
