I just received this in the mail, I was so excited to get it. Then I was a little disappointed, I always “over” research everything before I commit. Well I finally chose this item, it was suppose to be genuine leather with 6 rings and 8 1/2 x 11.After opening it the leather looks imitation, it has “9” rings,,, and the paper is 7 x 10. To top it off I paid $54.88 for a nice BUT very DISAPPOINTING product.

I got this to use as my personal Bible & Prayer journal. The combo lock worked well, the combination was easy to set. It has slots for cards and a pocket for loose notes. The paper that came with it has a place at the top for titling your entries and a place for the date. It is well constructed, but, as mentioned in the product description, it is not leather. I wish it came in the same size but in different colors. Over all, I am very happy with my purchase and would've given it 5 stars if there had been a selection of colors. It was delivered on time and packaged well.

This is a beautiful journal. Smells like leather right out the bag. Thick brown/tan pages guaranteed to hold ink and not bleed. Thick leather cover. Just beautiful!!!However this is smaller than expected. Does not open flat. And binding takes up a good 1/2 inch of writing space. Therefore it will be returned.

I bought this to carry my neo smartpen and planner/notebook pages. It is professional looking and it is small enough I can take it everywhere. One of the snaps is hard to close, but one snap is enough to keep it securely closed. The leather is heavy duty, but not reinforced with anything, so it is "floppy". I slid a piece of cardboard in the front pocket to help and put a heavy piece of cardstock punched at the front and back of my binder to give me a solid writing surface.

Very nice, high quality leather bound diary book

the leather is has a shiny, sealed finish and doesnt have the natural, soft appearance that is shows in the photo. Slightly disappointing, but besides that it is as advertised. I use it for work and it's very handy.
