Used fordown lighters
My kitchen downlighter are quite old. The sparky says reg are to use fire hoods.We fitted them in top of the ceiling above.

Downliighter fire hoods - 150mm
The items arrived promptly and were packaged well, and look good quality too.My only concern relates to the fire rating - there's no certification or fire rating standards details other than the mention of upto 60 mins, which wouldn't pass requirements for building standards. I think the inclusion of these details would help product sales, and give peace of mind to prospective purchasers.

Saxby fire hood
Cheap but also Very good quality fire hood.

Useless: not accepted by building control
Those hoods are not accepted by building control as the seller is not able to provide test certificate to support the fire rating claim.
