Fix-A-Floor Loose Tile Repair Adhesive Box of 12-10.1 oz. Tubes

The contractor that installed my floor did a poor job. Apparently they did not butter the back of the large format (14 inch) tiles. Therefore, many of these became loose or cracked. I've re-set those tiles that broke, or came completely loose with new mortar, but I determined many more were not well set by gently hitting them with a rubber mallet. Let me tell you, re-setting these without breakage would be a very hard job. I've applied fix-a-floor around those and the difference is amazing. Those tiles now act like the ones I re-set. I have no worry that more tiles will become loose of break.

I am very happy with this product. I had some hollow floor tiles that were causing small cracks in other tiles. You need to follow directions and there is a learning curve. Had to get the knack of putting it down.. I drilled holes in the grout around the hollow tiles and put the goop into the holes while my wife gently tapped on the tile to get it to go under the whole tile. I then cleaned the excess goop and placed trash cans filled with water on them for about 24 hrs. Voila! The stuff works. Only have a little hollow sounding tiles in some places. It worked well in most.

shame on me for hiring a fly by night Contractor. After they left a couple weeks later, the floor started buckling because they didn't leave enough space where the laminate meets the wall, so there was no way to naturally expanding and contract. everybody told me the floor is lost and I have to rip it out. I started reading for a better solution and found this product. I started by drilling holes in the laminate at the buckles and squeeze the product in with a caulking gun. Taped off the hole and weight down with heavy buckets for 24h. This is key. I ended up doing this for every other rowe. Worked.

We have placed an additional 2 orders (2 12 pack cases) to fix more tiles in our home. Apparently when the tile was put in our new to us home, it wasn't done correctly and many sound hollow or squeaky when walked on. Highly recommend this seller.
