My friend was getting married and he wanted us all to wear the 9-blue paisley/flower set. I was pretty underwhelmed when I saw these on Amazon. I was like, well, they're only ~$15 so why not...plus, it's one of my best friends so I should comply so I fit in seeing as I was the best man as well...haha.When these came in the mail they were packaged in cheap plastic and I wasn't impressed at all. I tried them on and they fit and worked well. I used them for the wedding and reception and I got a lot of compliments on them. You can't go wrong when the ladies are complimenting you. ;-)The construction is adequate and the materials are inexpensive which is why you can get this for so cheap. But overall, it'll do the job and it's worth the money. I like that they have so many options and color variations. I am glad they had a tutorial on how to tie a bow tie otherwise I'd have been crap out of luck...haha. I don't know how to do that!! Haha. I'm 6'2" and 250 lbs. The suspenders fit great. The bow tie fit around my large 17 1/2" neck. And the pocket square fit perfectly in my standard pocket. Haha. I like the way it looked, very classy. The clasps were also very tight and functional. The only downside is that for those used to suspenders that have some elasticity built in, will be disappointed in that, there is none. If you hunch or crouch, the suspenders will slack and try to droop off your shoulder blade. Other than that, it is a brilliant product for the price-point.

I am very impressed with this product! I bought the suspenders because my old set kept breaking loose from my pants. These, with the double snaps, appeared to be a better solution. They are indeed. The snaps are the most secure I have ever experienced. Having two super secure snaps at each attachment point is a solid guarantee of no slips or accidental release. The quality of the material is superb and the straps are long enough for the tallest wearer. I usually have to adjust the strap buckles down near my pants, I can wear these set at upper chest level. Great for me, but could be an issue for shorter wearers.The bow tie is of equal quality and beauty. One star ding because the adjustment stops at about 18.5 inches and I really need 20. OK, I have an exceptionally large neck so maybe a ding is not fair, but I'm reviewing from my perspective.The handkerchief is larger than I expected. It has to be folded in half before folding for my pocket. I consider that a plus since it makes a bulkier and more stable pocket accoutrement.Honestly, I like this product so much I am buying more since I wear "braces" almost exclusively and these are the best I have experienced thus far.

make sure you are aware- you have to tie this yourself! I didn't realize that, but after watching a few you tube videos, I now have a new skill! I can tie a bow tie. After seeing this compared to my son's friends' clip ons, I actually liked the way it looked better!

Each piece of the set looks to be well-made, except the pocket square's hem could be sewn better, and the suspender ends are synthetic leather. Also, as I use buttons for my suspenders, I've had to replace the clip-on straps for button-on straps. It should be noted that I found some variance in the neck sizes on the tie; I have three of the Hisdern self-tie bow ties, & only one of them was 16 1/2 when adjusted to that size. That being said, I'm satisfied with my purchase, and recommend these.
