If you have a charcoal grill then you really don’t need this (but I’m sure you know that already). I have a gas Weber, so bought this to do some smoking. Sure you can do the foil packets and poke holes in it etc, but honestly why bother. This is really good quality, durable, reasonably priced, easy to wash and maintain, is reusable, and makes your life so much easier! Plus if you need to add more wood you can just life the lid and open it and it’s done. Easy. I really value mine and would recommend it if you have a gas bbq you’re planning to play around with smoking!

This is a great product if you want that wood fired taste in your Gas BBQ. I have a Weber Q series so this is perfect paired with Weber BBQ wood chips. So far i've used this with the Apple and Hickory chips which both enhanced the flavour of the food. I decided to buy the official Weber products as the cost difference isn't much difference and the quality is a really high standard!

Absolutely fantastic!!

If you have a gas BBQ and you're hankering for that smoky flavour, this works an absolute treat! I paired it with hickory wood chippings which were surprisingly cheap for the volume (5 litre bag, also sold on Amazon). They lasted the entire BBQ, just don't put too many in, half does a good job. This looks like it will last for years to come and I'm so impressed with how it slowly let's the smoke out. Perfect size for the BBQ, I run on a 4 burner.

As described and good quality stainless steel compared to cheaper versions

Best accessory I've brought for the BBQ in a long time. Used it with roast chicken and burgers. And boy it adds so much flavour! Paired with the whiskey wood chips, it makes food taste brilliant! Works extremely well on charcoal and gas BBQ! Definitely a need to use for gas BBQs. Charcoal it really compliments the smokey flavours.

The box arrived as described and well packed. Very happy with it. For those that don't know you place this box in a gas BBQ and concert it to a smoker. No need for buying an extra smoker. Yes it is more difficult to keep the temps right but honestly doable with a little practise. The only way one could improve the box would be with a handle to open it easier while in use since you have to open it a few time to reload wood hips if you are smoking bigger pieces of meet. Otherwise top quality and deserves 4 atars
