solid build, but dimensions are oversized
The hardward that I received was larger than the 3.5x3.5 standard 4x4 posts. I bought the VEVOR hardware and they fit snuggly. I do not care for the phillips head screws. The Vevor kits came with hex head with soft washers. Much nicer fit than this kit. Note that the pieces in this kit are well constructed.

Toga extensions.
These don’t go with the regular toja brackets. If you’re doing a 2 part pergola you’ll have. to cut 8 inches off the 4x4 because they only take 4 inches of the 4x4 each side whereas the. normal togas the wood goes in 8 inches.. I just decided to do a 1 part 10x12.

Tolerances were off
The sizing was to big; when I placed he 4x4 wood, there was to much play.

It work, room for improvement.
The holes on the bottom post are on the same line from all the same sides. If you don't mind incidental contact with your screws then it's ok. Unfortunately, my screw got bent because there is another screw took that spot on the other side already. In addition, 3.6 leaves a lot of gap on the post. Another thing to consider is the bottom post is literally just a plate with a hole in it, so I'm not sure if it needs to be elevated so the wood doesn't get water damage. Another thing to consider is if you're thinking of putting a 4x4 skirt cover you might not be able to because it has the little triangles support in the middle.
