I bought these, not because I didn't already have a full set of Metric and SAE long shaft Allen wrenches, but because I wanted a set of Metric Allen wrenches for a tool kit for my new to me Cruiser Motorcycle. First off, they are long, longer even than the long shaft set I had. And they are tough as nails! I had some work to do, maintenance wise, adjusting the clutch on this bike, and after reading through the shop manual and it being a 2004 bike that while it had been garaged and kept clean on the outside, it had not had tender loving care maintenance wise.So I decided to completely remove the clutch mechanism and clean and grease it. It is a multi-part affair that pushes a shaft through to the opposite side of the crankcase to separate the clutch plates......anyway it clearly had never been removed or serviced, the Allen cap screws holding it to the engine block were lock-tighted in, and when I say they were tight and locked up....well to be honest on the first couple of tries I was not sure things were not going to snap off. I was using my regular set which was after a couple of tries showing the stress, so I got this new set out and tried yet again, I had to use a 12" Crescent wrench on the Allen and I was sure either the Allen was going to break or the screw was going to snap off, but finally after first tightening a little which caused a crackling sound, then loosening again repeated a couple of times they finally broke loose. I'm gonna tell you this Allen was bent way beyond what it should have endured and not only did the job, but didn't show any signs of being worse for the wear. GREAT set of Allen wrenches!
