Black Universal Automotive Touch Up Paint – Chips and Nicks Touch Up Kit – TouchUpDirect

We had a 10 year old white Chrysler vehicle to sell that needed a bit of touch up. I just was not up to driving a ways to a dealer for touchup paint so I ordered this kit. It has been great. The de-greaser pads are easy to use and the dotting/blotting method (versus brush painting) worked extremely well. This did an amazing job on scuffs/scratches on the front and rear fascia as well as dings on the door. I was really pleased with how well the paint color match worked out. I will admit, this vehicle has spent much of it's life in a garage when not used so the OEM paint was not faded. We also did not need any clearcoat as the vehicle did not seem to have clearcoat and the paint supplied had as shine with the same luster as the factory paint. I've always bought OEM / dealer touch up paint but am going to switch to this in the future.

Used on a 3 series BMW Alpine White. Color match was almost exact, cannot tell. As with all touch up kits, the paint doesn't dry 'smooth', technique is important, little dabs are better than rushing and blobbing the paint everywhere.

I have a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas White and for the most part this worked really well. The paint was easy to apply the clear coat was difficult.

I used this to touch up scratches on a 2020 BMW 323i. Color is “Alpine White” and matches the car perfectly. The trick with these is to not brush with this applicator but instead lightly dab it on. Be patient and apply multiple layers instead of one heavy layer.

The color layer goes on really easy, but getting a good clear coat over it is difficult. When you go to apply the clear coat the base paint gets really gummy and can be rubbed away regardless of how long you let it sit first.

The Tundra is happy again! An angry pebble was kicked up by a truck took aim at my hood. It left a fairly small chip but, it was right in the middle! The kit was easy to use with both pens working perfectly and the color blended with the rest of the paint. Need more colors to fix up the rest of the fleet.

I thought this product was very hard to work with because of the inconsistency of the applicator. The paint seemed to take forever to dry. Wont use this product again, trying something with a brush.

At first I was hesitant to touch up the few small chips on my car myself however, this pen made it super simple. The color match was nearly identical and went on easy. You really can't beat having the ability to do small touchups yourself for the price when detail work is typically so expensive. I would definitely use again and recommend to friends.
