For the amazing price I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised at how good the bed is with a decent heavyweight headboard too and comfy mattress. The seller also responded to delivery queries very promptly. Fantastic bed and good service all round.

Good for the price but quite cheaply made! Staples hold everything together. Got them basically for my young grandchildren and grownups who are not over weight will find them comfy too. Wouldn't do for extremely heavy people.

Ordered for step granddaughter who needed a replacement bed. From the mother's feedback It seems that it will last her into her teenage yrs. V comfortable for a 7 yr old child. As an adult,I haven't tried the bed myself because mother and daughter live the other side of the country but the mother thinks the bed is fantastic. The extra benefit is that it is on castors. Arrived earlier than expected. Great service and good value for money.

If you want a cheap bed for your child I would recommend this. Its put together ok but I would say it wont last forever, but this is what I would expect for this type of price.. mattress is soft to medium, base is cheaply made but still a nice bed for a child ! I would say its great for an 11 year, I would recommend.

My mother in-law needed a single bed to put downstairs after breaking her hip and wrist. Ordered this bed as a makeshift as she cannot manage the stairs for a number of weeks. Pleased to say its a great bed and comes with a decent mattress and headboard. Arrived before the original date given and in perfect condition.

Absolute bargain, really happy with the bed - quality at a great price! Base is sturdy and the mattress is thick. Came sooner than expected and the female who delivered it was fantastic. She carried this bed on her own and on her shoulder and wouldn't accept any help! She was so lovely I invited her to some breakfast :) 5* star from me.

I thought I was getting a bargain, but just bought a very poor quality, badly made bed.We bought this bed for our 4 year old's birthday, intending it also to double as a guest bed over Christmas, and are very disappointed.The bed base is poorly constructed, with a flimsy plyboard top that is warped, and makes a noise when anyone moves on the bed. The holes for the base feet had been drilled, but they plastic hessian cover underneath had been attached afterwards, and this needed to be cut to get the feet in.The mattress has such poor quality springs that it cannot hold anyone heavier than a small child or very petite adult - anyone larger and the bed feels like a water bed sloshing you from side to side.The headboard needed assembly which in itself is not too bad, except the drilled holes again didn't have any holes in the backing sheet, which needed to be made to fix the screws in. The uprights of the headboard were a very poor rough cut timber, with rough sawn slots, and splinters coming off the sides.

Base not deep like in the picture and the mattress not firm like it said as i thought it was high and firm enough for my condition.Never mind.
