Strictly For Hands, Wrist, Below Elbow, Only. Contains “Apricot Powder.”
What we receivedWe received a sealed (thank you) near square heavy duty brown cardboard packaged, measuring about 12" x 8” x 3" and weighing in at a whopping (5) pounds and (5) ounces. A sealed box gives me peace of mind everything inside was clean and untampered with.Describe the packageThe package did have the brand names Softsoap and Colgate-Palmolive at various locations on the package in the English and French languages and some location information for each country. What’s inside the packageInside I found six (6) good sized 332 ml (which is near 11.25 fluid ounce) plastic pump bottles of the Therapy, Warming Honey & Brown Sugar Scent hand soap. All bottles were in English with some French references (reason likely being the product is exported to Canada, and I believe the dual language must be listed to some degree). The bottles, pump “not” extended, stand about 7” tall (the pump extended add a negligible addition) and the bottoms of the bottles, which are rectangular, are about 3” in diameter.Bottom-line?We do like this pump hand soap. But it’s not perfect. Reason it’s not perfect is because this has SLES. I have family that are also mixed about the exfoliation which apparently the ingredient to do that is the “Apricot Powder.” Some family thought it was not a powder, rather, gritty apricot bone/pit shells.SLS & SLES, we do not care for itThere are two (2) ingredients I prefer to not have in the family soaps (we have young children). First, let’s look at sodium “lauryl” sulfate (SLS) a chemical that's commonly used in soaps, shampoos, and shower gels as a surfactant – think foaming agent for creating lots of suds; and second, let’s look at sodium “laureth” sulfate (SLES), which is said to be a slightly less harsh version of SLS, which is in this. These chemicals are typically made from petroleum. However, such ingredients can be plant based.Right to make informed decisionsOkay. But does it still have SLES? Yes, this does. Read the label (the listing did “not” post these ingredients, so I “am” going to take away that consumers should have choices and be informed. Even if this is plant derived SLS/SLES does that make that any better? The reader needs to decide. However, of note is the recent trend of “green sheen.” Does plant based make a difference?Set us free from SLESMany people demand a wash that is free from SLS/SLES, whether petroleum based or otherwise (plant-based). This is not free from SLES.How does it workFor those in the family that are not bothered by gritty apricot pit like shells in their soap. The soap was well liked. It cleans, softens, exfoliates (a bit – use a hand brush) and is supposed to carry bacteria away, so hooray. I like it personally, but there is no accounting for taste too.AromaThere is no accounting for taste, or aroma. Some in the family like the scent of brown sugar more than they do honey. I on the other hand, prefer honey over brown sugar. This has an overwhelming scent of brown sugar. So, the brown sugar camp is not disappointed. Since I prefer honey, my search continues. [The aroma lasts for a long time; we are talking near an hour.]The value?Considering how many are received, this is bargain to mid-level priced for the market.ViscosityIt’s a tad on the thicker side. Think of slightly watery honey viscosity.ColorBrown with dark apricot pits dotting this heavily.LatherBetter than the average liquid soap (hello, SLES).Hands, wrists, and below elbow, only.I do not consider this a body soap, and no way a face soap. It’s way too gritty to get in the eyes and could affect pores on a face (there are specialty products for that).I hope my thoughts were informational.

Fantastic soap that smells so good; might clog your dispenser
I love this soap! It smells so good, and the scent lasts even after washing it off. It’s definitely moisturizing and exfoliating at the same time. I’m not sure about the “warming” effect through. I have glass soap dispensers with narrow pumps and this soap clogged up the pumps. Not a fault of the product but something to note. If you’re using this in its original bottle, you won’t need to worry.

Got different one but i dont mind
I love softsoap so i was excited to receive these, it took a while to ship and i think it’s because they didn’t have the honey exfoliating one but i dont mind that i got a different one because honestly i like the antibacterial better so win for me!

If you like soft soap you will like this
If you like soft soap, you will like this. I only subtracted 1 star because I thought an exfoliating soap would have more grit in it than this. It works fine and is not abrasive, which I guess makes sense with a name like soft soap.

Quality soap
This liquid hand soap works great! It's nice and smooth on the skin, and it comes in a generous size bottle so you don't have to refill/replace it as often. This six-pack should last a while in your home.

Great moisturizing fragrant soap!
This is a really good smelling and moisturizing hand soap that also exfoliates dry and dead skin. It uses crushed apricot seeds to exfoliate, yet keeps hands smooth and balanced. The ingredients are biodegradable and safe for the environment too. The scent is warm and pleasant! Perfect for beside the sink.

Great scent that helps hands through the winter
I always have dry hands and am stubborn, so I don't use much moisturizer. This soap has helped my hands stay softer and have fewer cracks since I received it. I find the scent appealing and it doesn't stick around for too long like a lot of smelly soaps. The beads in the soap do seem to add a little scrubbyness like pumice soap.
