Small enough to be easily portable, but not pocket-sized. (Well, a big coat pocket, maybe.) Still big enough for a few pens pencils, sharpener, eraser, and eraser shield - even a small sketch pad. I have used this case for a good year and a half and it has held up very well. The zipper is very sturdy and the case overall as well. Holds at least like 35 pencils. It is small but very spacious. It's not too big to the point it doesn't look good. This is a great buy.👍
