Replacement keyboard appears to be genuine ASUS replacement. Took me about 1.5 hours to replace the keyboard since whoever designed this laptop thought it would be a smart idea to have about 50 tiny screws holding down the keyboard. For anyone who has the GA401I model, the keyboard P/N is 0KNR0-2618US00. This replacement keyboard will work just fine, the only difference appears to be this particular keyboard is slightly less clicky than the original. If you're hesitant to replace it yourself but don't want to shell out min $300 to replace a keyboard, just search ASUS Zephyrus G14 keyboard replacement on YouTube and there are videos that will walk you through step-by-step.

Most of the keys do not work. Extremely annoying since I spent hours replacing the keyboard for most of the keys to just not register any presses. Backlight also randomly turns on and off. Tried reinstalling drivers and nothing worked. Do not buy this

Worked great. Easy enough to install. Any issues i ran into were not due to the replacement key board, but the laptop design. So I cannot fault the replacement parts for that. Works great, just be ready to remove ALOT of screws

First, the keyboard works flawlessly, feels nice, and looks good. The install is a bit of a nightmare, but that is the design by Asus. Just watch a video of replacement first to make sure you're up to it. With that said, hardware prices these days are crazy, and this magnificent keyboard is going to let me run this laptop a whole lot longer. FYI: I run Linux and ran into a software issue where the backlight was off, but I was able to fix it in less than 10 minutes.

keyboard is exactly as intended idk where people are getting issues of big or small keys, just make sure the model number matches your computer. docking 1 star because it was very difficult to get the backlight ribbon off and i ended up tearing it, that might be on me but again i dont have backlight which meh i didnt use it much anyways fits perfect the keyboard works exactly as intended and it feels smooth like oem.

I perform computer repairs and will always try to find a high quality replacement to reduce the chance of callbacks for premature failure. The value for the money is great, as they are cheaper than the OEM parts, but not the lowest price on the market. I never want the cheapest part, as you get what you pay for. The keyboard is an exact replacement. Keyboard functionality, fit and compatibility are excellent when compared to the OEM parts. The backlight brightness was just fine upon installation. I did however, get a call back form the owner of the device this was installed in, 6 months after the repair, saying that different keys were starting to not function again. This would not be the first ASUS laptop that had an issue with a keyboard, so I would tend to think that there is an issue with ASUS laptops due to the repeat pattern. I am not sure of the part failed, or if the laptop system board is causing it to fail.

This keyboard fit my GA401I perfectly. Typing feels great and the backlight is strong. Plus it arrived less than 24 hours after I placed the order. Highly recommended!

The Escape Key was too big to my GA401QM model

Item as maybe expected. I hope that it is even better then the OEM, which had broken keys within a year.

The keyboard and backlight work, but by no means is it authentic or even a near identical replacement. The sensitivity of the keys is by far my biggest complaint, as many will not receive input unless hit with enough force when typing relatively quickly. The space bar is by far the worst as it will not receive input unless hit near the center or with more force near the edges. The symbols on the keys are also not consistent in their alignment (some are dead center while others are closer to the edges), which doesn't affect functionality in any way, and doesn't bother myself that much, but some people may be miffed if they care more about the look of their keyboard. UPDATE (June 12, 2026): It turns out that if I press 'i', 'n', and 'u' keys at the same time or very near together the keyboard will type an asterisk for whatever reason. (e.g. Genuin*ely, sanguin*e, penguin*) This is pretty insufferable. UPDATE (July 30th): New issue, pressing the 'g', 'r', and 'e' keys at the same time or very near together produces a 'Ctrl-F' signal somehow, which makes it impossible to type 'postgres' without exiting into a text search dialog.
