I brought this for my Mum who is suffering with dementia and gets confused about the date and time. The clock is very easy to set up and the display is very clear and easy to read. The layout of the date could be clearer if the date and month were closer together, but overall this is a really great clock.

Great clock, perfect for my wife and myself who are in our late 70s and sometimes need a prompt for the date /day. Easy to setup, just a few minutes. Very clear to read from across the room without being too intrusive. Haven't used the medication reminder, but could be useful in the future. Overall a great clock which does what we need.

I bought this for my 90-year-old mother, who can never remember what day or date it is, and finds this frustrating. I chose this model mainly based on price, and because the display looks clear. I've tested it out, and it seems well-made and simply to use. I think the display with the analogue-style clock with be best for my mum as it's not quite so 'in your face'; but she can choose which she prefers when she sees it.Although mains power is required, the device does remember the date, time and other settings when unplugged. The setting controls are on the back, and are quite easy to use.There is a USB port and SD card slot on the back also, but it’s not obvious what these are for! I managed to get one of my photos to flash up on the screen with some fiddling about; but I’m not convinced this is a useable feature (although that’s not why I bought this, so no matter!).Overall, this is an item I would recommend.

I have bought a couple of those clocks for my elderly mother and she loves them. All info is really easy to display.Would have been 5 stars if it had changed when the clocks changed recently, but I guess you can't have everything at this price, but would recommend.

Bought for an elderly relative who no longer has to ask for the time or “ what day is it” The light given from the clock can be adapted to bright or really low which is ideal in the bedroom. Well worth the money especially for any one with confusion..

A helpful item to keep you aware of the time and date. This helped mum who has mild dementia to stay more aware.

Excellent clock really clear display with a large number of choices as to how it shows the time, date etc.And you can adjust the brightness which is good, as the default setting is very bright!Arrived the day after I ordered, so really good seller too.

This is a decent dementia clock. We bought one for my mother-in-law and it is in her lounge. Very easy to read and she always know the day/date/time.So we bought this one for our bedroom. That is not so great because it is simply far too bright at night. The auto dim has 5 settings: off, auto, high, mid, low. We've tried them all. You could read by the light emitted on the low setting, and it is keeping us awake.As a minor irritation it also says NIGHT from midnight to 6am. Sounds good in theory, but when it says Saturday night, in my mind that's when we go out.Returning it. Sorry.
