They do the job it's designed for but could be brighter and maybe light sensor is not sensitive enough.

I though at first that the partial cover provided by my wall light enclosure might mean the light switching on when it was still light, but it's working very well. Low energy consumption so I'm happy to have it on overnight. Not too bright, so not a problem with light pollution. Very pleased.

Works well. Only downside is that it stays on until daylight intensity is good, meaning that it is not suitable for indoor rooms unless they are well lit with natural daylight.

Was worried this might not work behind frosted pane in our outdoor light but it works like a dream. We have been putting off buying a motion sensor for a year until I discovered dusk to dawn bulbs. Never knew they existed. Great value for the two bulbs and no need for hard wiring anything. Very pleased.

Wow. These bulbs are brilliant. I have an outside light at the front of my house and I forget to turn it off. This is perfect as it only comes on at dusk and goes off at dawn.The other one I have taken to my caravan. Again ideal as only comes on at night and lights the way perfectly.Lastly they are rated at just 6watts so very energy efficient and bright at the same time.Will definitely be buying more as I need them.

Very reasonably priced, low wattage sensor bulbs. No problem installing in our old ceiling light. The light does indeed turn on at twilight and off again in daylight. Not that easy to test this function, but in low light it turns out shining an LED flashlight at the bulb from a couple of inches away does turn it off.These bulbs came with two small pieces of printed documentation, neither much use, but neither really needed.Update 2023: After using one of these bulbs for rather less than two years we have to discard it because it flickers instead of turning off or on. This particular bulb lasted less than 16k hours of power on time and, say, 7k hours lit. That would be great for a tungsten filament bulb, but is not very good for an LED product. On the other hand, that works out to under 1p per day of operation so perhaps I shouldn't be as disappointed as I am.

These should have worked fine as there is nothing especially complex about them.The light does come on at dusk, as it should, but then flickers incessantly. Annoying and so removed as not fulfilling the need.

Used as a dusk til dawn bulb to upgraded older light fixtures in a porch and bulkhead outside a garage.Works well so far and now added security which we won't have to remember to switch on at night.Bright enough for the job. Will see how long they last.
