My son loves his new coat if you couldn't tell by the huge smile on his face. We haven't had the coat that long. So he hasn't gotten to wear it in really really cold weather but it's been keeping him warm so far. he's a size 8 so I bought a 10/12 so it fits like it should. its a bit big on him but I like buying a size bigger so he can use it a couple yrs in a row.

Very stain resistant
I love this coat! My son was out playing on his bike, hit some sand. Busted open his lip, blood all over the coat, thought I was going to have to toss it. Nope, sprayed Oxi clean on it and a minute later all the blood lifted right off! No issues!

Definitely not waterproof
Jacket looks nice, not very sturdy, literally soaks up the wetness, when my 7year old took it off after skiing, I had to drain water out of it before putting it in the car. Jacket runs small and hood runs even smaller even on larger size and it’s not very practical, my son kept taking off saying that it cuts into his chin. I suggested to my wife that it looks nice and for $35 it’s ok and she said that it’s not that cheap, I mean for regular people. As per my son jacket was warm enough tho and looks nice on pictures. I would really give 2 and half stars if I could.

Poor Quality - Don't Buy!
I had to get replacements for this coat 2x as the stitching underneath the arms didn't hold on **ANY** of the 3 coats. The stitching is just poor quality all over the coat, no reinforcement stitches in areas that the fabric takes more stress in than others. The final one only made it through the rest of the season because my awesome Mother in Law reinforced the stitching everywhere.The whole coat was just poor stitching. All pockets ripped & we lost gloves & toy dinosaurs that my 5yr old son was devastated about, before we knew to sew them up (pockets were the 1st to rip)Note that I purchased the coat a size larger to accommodate for layers, playground movements and room to grow.The stitching was just horrendous quality all over the coat. With no reinforcement stitches, inside or outside, in areas that the fabric naturally takes more stress in than other areas.Both outer coat and inner lining ripped over 6" the first coat on the underarm area. The second coat, it was unwearable on one of the coldest days of winter that school was open... I had to pick him up from school rather than him riding the bus as staff couldn't put him on the bus for safety reasons. The coat had ripped all down the right side, same as before outer coat and lining. It was flapping from armpit to the bottom of the coat exposing his.whole side. There was also yet another hole was roughly 3-4" under the left arm that was mostly outer shell with about 2" into the inner lining.Don't waste your money.
