Incredible Resource!
This comprehensive five-book bundle serves as a valuable resource for mastering Python programming and SQL database management. Covering basics to advanced concepts through five books, it offers a gradual learning path. It starts by explaining the fundamentals of databases and their importance in storing and accessing diverse data. The book then dives into the core elements of SQL, guiding readers through creating relational databases and using SQL to manipulate data within them. I loved how engaging the writing style was, making complex topics accessible. With clear explanations, examples, and exercises, it effectively reinforces practical applications in data analysis, machine learning, and real-world scenarios, demystifying SQL and empowering readers to become proficient database managers. While touching on related topics like Python, I liked that the primary focus remained on making SQL accessible to those new to the field. This is without a doubt, a valuable resource that I highly recommend for anyone looking to develop essential SQL skills for data analysis or application development.

For those who want to dedicate themselves to data management using programming languages.
In the book Python Programming and SQL, specialist Mark Reed teaches us the use of SQL (Structured Query Language) to manage databases that are increasingly important not only for companies but also for governments . Although there are several query languages that differ in data based on function, what characterizes SQL is that it presents data in columns and rows similar to Excel. During the development of the first part of the work, the author explains each part of the SQL step by step, for example in the case of understanding how the query flow is generated, starting from a simple example of a Product Table. Finally, the use of Python is explained, which is a programming language that provides an advanced platform for programming. Reed makes it easy to understand step by step, allowing both a layman and a specialist to easily learn and implement SQL and Python. Work intended for those who want to engage in data management using programming languages.

Really good resource for learning SQL and python
I have experience with SQL but have been wanting to learn Python since I started coding. This book is a very big help to learn each one individually and then applying them together. The only thing I want to clear up is that it is true that the practice database isn't clearly stated. The one used in the book is the ADVENTUREWORKS SQL database. If you Google SQL ADVENTUREWORKS DATABASE. You will find instructions on how to install MSSQL and the adventure works database files. With that issue resolved this book is a 100% review.

AVOID: Disjointed, Impractical, Erroneous
I purchased this book as an intermediate SQL user and a beginner Python user. I'm am extremely lucky to have known most of the information ahead of time, otherwise this book would be completely useless. With no discernible logic as to chapter order, all of the information is given to you as a vomiting of information with important information left completely unaddressed or criminally under-explained. Chapter 2 in the first book uses examples that utilize keywords and methods not discussed until near the end or not at all. No explanation is given for the unnecessarily complicated examples, further confusing a beginner. The chapters in all books don't follow any progression, and worse, each book repeats itself or provides the information in a slightly different, usually just as confusing, way. Even worse, there are no practical exercises in the first book. You either have to have access to an existing database and change the data to match (for a beginner, this will probably be impossible since the data won't match). The second book provides exercises but they are all but useless. There's no prompting to attempt things on your own, instead the book just gives you the query to run, creating or querying the tables with zero effort on the readers part. If you don't put forth your own effort to create your own practical exercises, you'll gain nothing. The book is also riddled with errors. Glaring formatting, typing, and data errors exist on every 2 or 3 pages. The typos aren't a big deal, but the formatting is jarring. It's like they didn't care that a single line from a table carried over to the next page or that images are completely unreadable. The sections within the chapters are like spurts of vague information on functions that aren't given proper use cases. The data errors are the worst. The book will reference columns in a table that it didn't prompt you to create. There will be extra apostrophes in queries that would cause errors when executed. There's a new problem every few pages. I can't express how much I dislike this book and its contents. Was there an editor? How is this considered competent or useful? If I had been a complete beginner, I would have quit after a few chapters. The lack of practical/useful exercises, the glaring errors, the jarring structure of the book itself would have been plenty for me to think SQL/Python wasn't for me. I suggest ALL beginners to look elsewhere. This book may be useful for those with some experience but it's more likely to provide just an incompetent version of what you already know. Severely disappointed.

Some explanations missing
This book seems good, however it doesn't explain how to install python or sql, for an absolute beginner that is important, of course there are tutorials on YouTube, but it could be better to find out everything needed in the book

great first steps into programming
"Python Programming and SQL: 5 Books in 1" is an expansive collection that offers a comprehensive exploration of both Python programming and SQL database management. This multi-book set is a valuable resource for anyone looking to learn or expand their skills in these fundamental areas of computer science. The standout feature of this collection is its breadth and depth of coverage. By combining five books into one, the set takes learners from the very basics of Python programming, introducing concepts like variables and loops, to more advanced topics such as data analysis, machine learning, and SQL database management. This progression allows both beginners and intermediate learners to find content that suits their needs. The books are well-structured, with clear explanations and numerous examples. Each book in the collection is logically organized, providing readers with a gradual and systematic approach to learning. The inclusion of exercises and practical examples helps reinforce the material, making it easier to grasp and retain. One of the strengths of this collection is its real-world applications. It not only covers the theoretical aspects of Python and SQL but also demonstrates how these skills are used in practical scenarios. This practicality is vital for learners who want to apply their knowledge in the workplace or in personal projects. The inclusion of SQL database management is a valuable addition. SQL is a critical skill for anyone working with data, and the book's clear explanations and hands-on exercises make it accessible even to those new to the topic. The writing style is engaging and reader-friendly, making it suitable for self-study. The books avoid overly technical jargon and offer explanations in plain language, making complex concepts easier to understand.

DO NOT BUY
For a book where PYTHON if front and center on the cover, only 40% of the material is about Python (I measured it) and the book lacks coherence and organization, I've noted several mistakes or inaccuracies in the first couple chapters alone. I suspect this is more LLM written slop rather than actual helpful learning material.

New Hard damaged.๐คฌ
This could of been a 5 star review, but only a 3 because it came damaged. An for a brand new hard cover, that's very bad. That's why it dropped 2 stars. As for why it could be 4 star's is because the paper inside feels like it wouldn't rip as easily... which is good thing, because it means it could last a very long time... without damaging the book. 3 stars though, because of the first reason I said the start.๐๐ก๐
