Very easy to use. It takes surprisingly little effort to punch through sheet steel (1.5mm or so) with this. Press, click, then fully open to extract the punch from the sheet. The holes are neat and clean (pic) with no clean-up required. For metal sheet, it's vastly superior to using a drill.

Just beautiful, created and working very well, so surprisingly easy to punch a hole in a 1mm steel sheet. Worth every penny.

I ordered this punch for car body work. Item arrived fully sealed and packed ok, however, when I opened up the box, a whole load of the punches were missing. Had to claim a refund which went smoothly.

I've used only the 3mm punch so far, but it is very impressive: I'm punching holes in both 36 gauge aluminum and 36 gauge brass sheets. Some punches won't punch the brass at all, and all other punches I tried left a chad or burr on the back of the hole. This punch leaves a totally clean hole. The pliers are large, too big for my hand, so I have to use them either with two hands if the sheet of metal can be held by a vise or C-clamp, or lying on their side on the work surface if I need to hold a smaller piece of metal with one hand. It is hard to see precisely where the hole is going to go with some sort of mark, but the punch has a central pin that is pretty easy to line up with a mark on the metal. Even better, if you use an awl or nail set and hammer and make a small indentation in the target metal, you can feel the pin in the center of the punch when it seats in that indentation, telling you when you have it positioned properly to give you the hole you want where you want it. After trying several punches, I am very glad to have found this one..

Great product, really can't say anything bad about it. Very high quality and heavy duty hole punch.I was shopping for a hand held hole punch specific for leather working applications, but when I came across this product I pulled the trigger on it. I found it is a bit overkill due to the weight of it when using the punch with small oz synthetic leather, but is great for heavier oz and genuine leather. Also it cuts metal, which is great, I can see many applications for this and will be a great tool to add to the collection. Still, I'll most likely buy another more versatile hole punch for my leather working hobby.
