Florida recommended
The Sand Shark Fluke Anchor performs exceptionally well on Florida’s sandy bottoms. It sets quickly and holds strong, even in moderate current. For best results, I recommend pairing it with 25 feet of chain and 150 feet of rope to maximize holding power and prevent dragging. Solid choice for boaters in the region.

This is our 2nd anchor purchase. We bought one for the front of the boat and bought the 2nd one for the back. They hold great.

Best anchor I’ve owned
My anchor came in very fast and the anchor is by far one of the best anchors I’ve owned. It’s made of quality products that help with the weight of the anchor being light while not giving up durability to keep my MasterCraft in place even in windy conditions.

Dont Waste Your Money...Design Flaw!
Owned and used this anchor for 1 year and it did work good and I liked the retractable shank! Worked well. HOWEVER, the boating season is over where I live and I was just doing some anchor inspection and maintenance and to my surprise found that the roll pill was about to fall out. This is not good because if you understand how this anchor works its absolutely imperative that the roll pin does not fail. My roll pin was loose in the hole and if it had fallen out we would lost the lower end of the anchor and be drifting....this is a design flaw 100%. I thought I would just replace the roll pin with a small stainless steel bolt BUT the head and the nut creates issues with the flukes of the anchor actually being able to function and flop from side to side...a no go!!!! I am really disappointed in this anchor and IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE I WOULD SUGGEST YOU INSPECT THE ROLL PIN BEFORE ITS TO LATE! THIS IS A BOATING SAFETY ISSUE! Going back to my high performance aluminum Fortress! I would like a refund BUT I bet the Mfg will ignore this serious safety review!!!???And one last point, file off the shape edges, this anchor will cut you and beat up your anchor locker...a simple manufacturing detail...dam! Im about to design and build my own anchor and do it right!

5 Stars – Perfect Anchor for My Jet Ski!
I recently picked up this mini fluke anchor for my jet ski, and it’s been an excellent addition. Compact, lightweight, and easy to store, but it still holds strong even in moderate currents. Whether I’m stopping at a sandbar or anchoring near shore, it keeps my jet ski secure without any hassle. Great build quality and definitely worth the purchase—highly recommend for any PWC owner!

Mediocre quality for top money.
The product in concept is great, light weight anodized aluminum so should hold up well in brackish water. Quality leaves a little to be desired for the price tag, I chose to buy one of the more expensive products available as it will be tasked with holding a valuable wave runner. On opening the product I was disappointed to discover that the whole that was machined in the product for the retaining pin appears to have been machined incorrectly and then modified to suit leaving an elongated hole and some sharp aluminum burs on the edges of the modified hole. I was also disappointed that there was no secondary hole to store the retaining pin when the anchor is extended, as now I have a pin that is likely to get lost / dropped in the water. The manufacturer should modify the design to include a second hole for putting the pin in when the anchor is extended as well as provide some sort of fastening / cord that attaches the pin to the anchor so it is not lost if dropped.

Can it hold my 13.5 Boston Whaler
Put it together easily. Light weight and can easily fit in the compatment on my boat. Can't wait to put it into action and see how it holds. US Virgin Islands
