Shade Dirty Talk is gorgeous. It’s a little bit lighter and brighter than my natural lip color which I am not accustomed to, so I am going to use a liner with it. Pictures show it on bare lips by itself. The pigment is insane, the feel is super soft and hydrating, and I’m sure it’ll have a great wear time. A great drugstore lipstick totally worth the buy. Easy to apply and wear on its own too!

Ignore the photo showing this lipstick as a light orange-peach. It is a cool-toned, soft mauve. On me, it's like my lip color, just a bit darker, which i like because I have darker eyes and eyebrows for a True Summer. I don't wear a ton of makeup anymore now that I'm in my 50s, but I will always love lipstick, and this is one of my faves. It compliments my natural cheek color, and gives me a bit of polish when I'm walking out the door that a plain lip balm just can't do. The formula is creamy and pigmented. You don't need multiple layers...one and done with this formula. Is it super long-wearing? Not especially. But since it nearly matches my lips, it's not as noticeable when it wears off, and its super quick to just apply a new coat as needed. Love the secure cap on these lipsticks. They don't ever fall off in your purse. Anyway, great lipstick for True Summers, maybe even Soft Summers too if you want something a bit cooler.

This is my first of this kind of elf lipsticks and I’m very impressed with them. I got two shades, this one being the darker fall color for a little more drama - or subtle days. It feels so smooth, it stays on well and isn’t drying. I love the tube it’s in. It’s a square, has a magnetic top that tells you it’s properly closed when you hear the ‘click.’ This color, ‘No Regrets’ will be a staple for me. The other color I got is a shade that’s a spot on dupe for the Il Makiage color I got and love as a regular go-to, I think it’s something like ‘Baby Doll’ but I’m not sure. The elf dupe is ‘Effortless.’ I feel great getting that same color and it feels and looks like my regular lipstick. The elf price is nice, about three times less or more. Never could get it again as it was always unavailable after that first tube, something common in that line I learned. But the elf is almost exactly that color. I put them on side by side and can’t tell the difference in the colot, moisture content, staying power, everything. It’s all there and then some. This is my new lip line, I’ve loved everything from elf. I’m almost seventy and I feel years younger in their products. There’s a soft, very faint nice smell at first, barely detectable, but that dissipates when it’s applied. The color is matte but has a soft moist look and certainly a naturally moist feel, really nice. I’m very impressed, and very happy to get the color I fell in love with, plus the feel. Nice lipsticks, very nice!

Bought this in Standing Ovation (first picture). Will plan on purchasing more if I don't become allergic. EDIT: I did get a few tiniest bumps on my lips but they didn't swell up, which is a very good reaction for me. Normally on a typical lip product, I get a flare up with blisters that ooze, and my lips would feel uncomfortable. I did purchase a few more. I wanted a red that wasn't too red and more neutral. Standing Ovation seemed to fit the bill. I'd describe it as a medium dusty rose with some peachy brown under tones. The swatch picture on the listing is not accurate, however, the color of the actual lipstick is. Dirty talking is a light nude pink. I thought it would be too pale for me but it wasn't too bad. This unfortunately arrived broken... I shoved the broken tip back. Pleased is a cool pink. Effortless is a mauve. Vocal is a coral; red with orange. Color payoff is great. Goes on smoothly. Will highlight your dry lips (not as bad as matte finishes) so you should exfoliate. Doesn't feel dry but not overly moisturizing (like a gloss). Feels like you have a thin layer of vaseline. The packaging is pretty. It's rectangular so it won't roll, but it ends up being a bit bulky. The magnetic cap is pretty cool. Staying power isn't that great. Will smudge off easily and transfers to everything. (I'm not an expert and I'm not sure if this is normal for a lipstick.)

Transferred over from MAC lipstick and feel that this is the best lipstick ever! It's highly pigmented and lasts a long time! Not transfer proof, but doesn't completely wipe off. It's worth reapplying whenever necessary because this lipstick also lasts forever! I use it daily and it has lasted months ❤️✨️

Nice peachy nude for everyday. Not drying but not super long lasting, either. Great for the price (just like most ELF products)/

I ordered No Regrets, but I do regret it. I guess this colour was pretty much as it looked. It intrigued me, as it seems to combine warm and cool. I have pale olive skin, so neutral/mixed shades on the warm/cool scale are often good for me. This was way too bright, though. I think you would have to have either a deeper complexion or perfectly white skin to pull this one off. Or else a lot of red in your skin. Contrary to the impression in this picture, I do have some colour to my skin. But this lipstick completely overpowers me. I had actually already blotted it twice here. I will not expose the world to the full strength look on me! It is also, hard, dry and drying. The tip is pointy and it is great for drawing precise lines. After I took the picture, I blotted it way down and it was still giving fire engine on me, so I just wiped it off. It came off fairly easily and left a slight stain, which is pretty but still feels bright. This interface is prompting me to write about stickiness. It was not sticky in any way, shape or form. Much too dry for that. Doesn't feel thick on the lips, either, but man it packs a punch! I'm an older lady (as you can clearly see), and I was looking for a moisturizing lipstick in a new colour to pick me up. This was not it, but it could work for someone who likes a dry, matte finish and a really strong colour! Also, I must admit it made my teeth look blindingly white. But given how my face looked, I didn't want to smile.

Great lips stick love it. I which they would bring back the “82644 Razzle Dazzle Red 6104ED”. I loved that lipstick. I still have the finished bottle thingy of it.

I love this lipstick! I was trying forever to find a black lipstick that smears and transfers nicely but also holds up and looks good when worn. It's smooth, easy to apply, long lasting, doesn't dry out or flake off like others I've tried in this colour, and best of all, it transfers and leaves great marks on my partner. It has a really nice shine to it too when applied, and has quickly become my daily wear. Absolutely would reccomend this.
