Purchased for something to do during lockdown, and also one for my friend.They're well packaged, good selection of paint colours - slightly hard to open! And did start to run out towards the end. Very easy to assemble the instructions are clear. Woods very thin so need to be careful when pushing it all together! Otherwise very good and would recommend!

Ordered this at the beginning of the summer holiday to save for a rainy day and thought it was really great value for money! My 4 year old daughter and me really enjoyed painting the pieces and putting it together. The instructions were clear and simple.The house itself was easy to put together, the only thing I would say is the paint was very hard to get open. The wood is thin so be gentle with it when breaking it out the flat packaging. All in all a great quality item for the price and it's going to look great when we hang it outside for the birds.

I bought this for my 4yr old daughter and we had soooo much fun painting it. I think I had more fun than I did. Very good quality for the money. Little tip, lay down the side panels the way they are going to be fitted as they are not all the same so if you paint a joining picture you won't get a surprise when you come to put it together.

This DIY birds house is good for painting but there is no way you can put it outside as a real bird house. Firstly, the bird hole it so small that even a hungry sparrow won't dare to squeeze his head for food in it. Secondly, the parts do not align, it has gap between parts no parts how you tight assemble them. Thirdly, it not sturdy at all to survive even a nice winter wind here. Basically it's merely for DIY recreational purpose with your child and having him do the paint job on it.

Bought this “bird house” because my five year old wanted to build one. This is a bird house model, not an actual bird house. It even says “keep dry” so it can’t go outside?!!! The paints aren’t water proof, there’s no varnish and the roof pieces don’t even meet to keep rain out. To top it all off the price has dropped £5 since I bought it. What a waste of money

Grandaughter loved painting this., it occupied her for an afternoon. It really could have done with outdoor varnish putting on it afterwards but as she didn't have any they hung it up in a semisheltered area where it lasted for a while.

My daughter loved this! Paint is really good quality and goes on well. It's easy to put together but the pieces don't fit perfectly. However, it doesn't affect the shape of the birdhouse much. Hopefully it holds once the birds start using it! Makes a great gift.

After a rocky start, this was a great presents for my 6 year old niece. The first time I ordered it, a German diary turned up, not sure where the switch happened if it was a seller or Amazon issue.Second time around, it arrived nicely packaged in a box which I wasn't expecting based on other, reviews. It was easy enough to assemble and the paint went far enough to decorate it well. All we need now is a Robin to move in!
