I do like this product and I'm not sure why more companies don't make them. My only quibble is that it could be just a bit thicker for this price, but it is thick enough.It's not an actual bumper so it's not gonna act like one. This is more a decorative bumper strip to prevent scratches -- which is exactly what I wanted. If you have real dents in the bumper this might have issues sticking to it. It bends and conforms to shape, but it's not gonna cover any *real* damage.I will say it cuts smooooooooth. When you want to trim it the scissors, or whatever you use, it cuts nicely. SO if you're trying to cut around a pattern, like a license plate hole, or a turn signal, etc. this is not a problem. I was able to trim even the slightest bit off to get the edges I wanted.Side note: I did add *edge seal* along the top and sides (where rain would attempt to creep in. I don't think it ever would, but I wanted to make sure.Also... it comes shipped curled in a roll. You'll want it to flatten out so put it out in the sun, hold the edges down with something.

Just installed it about an hour ago, and so far so good. Was a bit more of a PITA to install alone than I anticipated, but not too bad overall. Make sure you use painters tape and that will help. I think if you took a blow dryer to the rubber first, it would make it easier because it just wants to roll back up the way it was packaged. Hopefully it holds up, and I’ll update the listing accordingly. I bought this instead of getting the bottom portion of my bumper painted after an unknown person scratched it all up. (Looks like a bike crashed into it and scraped it or something) And didn’t want to go through my insurance for such a thing, so this helped.

Used to have a thick protector made of foam that didn’t stick to the bumper well and was collecting dirt and leaves.Replaced it with this protector, and much better! Much lower profile, but better than foam. Easier to cut this to fit the bumper and sticks great. I had to take it off to cut more and reapply, and the adhesive was still strong enough to be installed with no problem!Very happy with this purchase.

This product was fairly easy to install just need two people to line up correctly. The adhesive is holding great so far just wondering will it hold up because I run my car through the wash regularly year round. It looks great and very stylish also covering up scratches on my bumper it was either buy a new bumper or try the Bumper Guard I recommend trying can't beat the price.

Protection for non metal bumpers and it goes with my car color!

It's an easy to install product but it's not working out as well as expected. The material is thick enough to handle minor scratches which would otherwise scuff a painted bumper. It's also pretty discrete when used on a dark colored car.It required trimming with sturdy scissors to handle the curvature of our rear bumper. The corners never adhered confidently. After 6 weeks, the corners are evidently separating more so with time. I won't be surprised if it's knocked off sometime in the near future.

I purchased this item to cover collision damage on the front bumper cover of a 2010 Ford Explorer. Replacement of the bumper cover was going to cost hundreds, and be very time consuming. After considerable trimming, I attached it to the bumper cover and it worked great. The vehicle has black trim, the this item blended nicely with the front grill and other trim. Now, after about 2 months it continues to adhere without the edges beginning to come loose and continues to look good.

Looks like thick black tape! Sent back!
