This Slot Car Race Track has been a huge hit in our house! My 7-year-old received it for Christmas and has been having a blast playing with it. I bought this Slot Car Race Track Set mostly for the nostalgic factor, and it absolutely delivered. The minute I opened the box and started snapping the track together, I was transported right back to being a kid in the basement on a rainy Saturday. That feeling alone is worth the price! This set is really great because it hits that sweet spot between the classic feel and modern engineering. The track pieces connect easily and hold together securely, even when the cars are flying off (which is part of the fun, right?). Having four high-speed racing cars is fantastic, as it means two people can race right out of the box, or you have spares if the competition gets too intense. What I appreciate most is the dual power option—you can run it with batteries or electric power. That makes it super versatile, letting you set it up anywhere, from the dining room table to a campsite picnic. The high-speed cars really scoot, and figuring out how much throttle to apply without de-slotting is a genuine challenge. We got this for our 4 year old for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. Of all the presents he got this year, he’s spent the most time with this one. Sometimes the cars fall off the track, but that’s normal. He learned quickly how to put them back on easily enough. Setup was simple. Although two of the guardrails broke, so they’re kinda halfway attached. I’d recommend bending the guardrails into a curve before attaching to reduce the stress on the bits that clip onto the track. We’ve been able to get 4 cars running on the track simultaneously with good results. Any more than that and the electric doesn’t provide enough juice to power them all. 9.5/10 overall

I got this for my 2 boys ages 7 and 12 and they liked it. Noticed that the inside track runs faster than the outside track?? switching cars does nothing. Only complaint but that comes from me being ocd mostly, they have put many hours on it and greatly enjoy it.

Controllers stopped working within a month. Makes the rest of it worthless without them. Maybe if you’re handy with electronics you could fix them, but no more than they were used they should not have quit working. It was definitely fun while it lasted.

Track goes together easily and the cars are quick! Fun to race for the kids and the adults in the household. We have used both batteries and power cord, but ended up switching just to the power cord. The cars are easy to get back on the track and the kit comes with replacement wires for the cars (have not yet had to change them, we have been able to reshape the current wires very easily). We did have an issue with the controllers (wire cracked, pin came off), but I emailed the customer support team email listed in the build instructions for replacement suggestions and they were quick to respond and rectified the problem immediately. This toy has gotten quite a bit of use since it has been built and excited to keep playing it together!

I picked this up as a last minute xmas gift for my son. Some of the product videos made it look promising enough. My expectations were not super high. Tyco isn't around anymore. I just wanted to find a decent, fun and simple slot car racing set. Positives: Fast shipping. It is packed nice and neat. No Missing parts. Assembling was pretty straight forward. Instructions are easy to follow for assembly. You get 4 cars to choose from and the option to use Batteries or plugin into an outlet. Negative Stars explained: -1/3 Rails are cheap and break easy: You must be extremely careful. You do have to bend them slightly for assembly since they attach to the curved tracks pieces. Sadly, it seems like they were made with a type of plastic that isn't meant to bend. If it bends only slightly too much, it snaps. -2/3 Lanes are different speeds: Once we got it assembled we were excited to have some slot racing fun. Right away we noticed one lane is always faster than the other. We tried swapping cars and trying the others it came with. No luck. One lane will always be faster. Because of this, right from the start, you lose the ability to have any fair race. At that point you just need to be entertained by cars moving and nothing more. -3/3 Power failure?: For seemingly no reason, with barely any usage, the cars would stop working. Or 1 would stop while the other kept working. Or both. I saw in another review that if the tracks can be loose and disconnect easy, but that was not the case here. Each piece seemed like a nice tight fit. They would work one moment and not at all the next. Overall, I am not at all happy with this thing. I regret wasting $66.77 on this when funds have been extremely tight this year. It was a very disappointing experience. Probably won't use it again. And I don't want to give it away to some other poor kid who would also be disappointed. It's a loss. I miss brands like Tyco. Their stuff wasn't perfect, but it just worked and we used to play with those for hours. This company seems to be gaining popularity with so many good reviews. Good for them earning money. But I do hope they take note with the negative ones and make changes to their product. We need a new Tyco successor.

El mismo día no funcionó el auto rojo, el azul camina muy lento y los otros dos funciona bien. Sería bueno que, aunque no los cambiaran, dieran opciones para comprar más autos, para que siguiera siendo funcional la autopista, ya que a este paso podría quedar inservibles en el corto tiempo.
