Can you record directly to usb or do you have to record it on to cassette first and then convert it

As a new owner, I am unsure, although i assume you would have to record unto Cassette first, as it states it records from cassette to USB. Although it must also go directly from radio to USB. Unsure exactly as yet how to answer your question. Vern

Can you record your own voice?

Actually you can record your voice on either a cassette tape or on the usb memory stick. I recorded an introduction on the memory stick than played/recorded from the old cassette to the same memory stick.

Would this be able to play an MC90 mini cassette?

No. Only the standard size cassettes will work on this particular model.

Tried to record a tape using the USB feature. Upon pushing the record button, it was red for a few seconds then went off. Is the normal?
