can this also be used on 5g wifi or only on 2.4 ghz?

Since the current transmission performance of 2.4GHz WiFi is better than that of 5GHz, our products currently support 2.4 GHz WiFi, and most of the products on the market currently only support 2.4 GHz WiFi. But we have received your feedback, and we will consider launching products that support both 5GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi in the future.

Can you use this by laying it flat on a surface? Can you charge and use it at the same time?

The monitor will work laying it flat on a surface and yes, you can charge it and use it at the same time.
