Can you keep these on when tossing?

Tossing, yes. Throwing - no. I wear it on my glove hand, it’s a bit snug, but it works fine. Good padding for batting or even playing pickleball. When it’s cool out I even wear playing disc golf or pickleball on both hands. But not the throwing hand when playing league or tournament softball games

do these gloves have padding on the back side? The back of my hands bruise easily.

There is no padding on back of hand,just on the palm areas.
